Favorite Beer?

No way I could pick just one. Variety's the spice of life.

Concur on Anchor Steam, Foster's and Sam Adams. I also like Corona Extra (with the obligatory slice of lime of course). Heineken's good as long as it's really cold. I've tried Guinness Stout - definitely an acquired taste but after all you literally are drinking from the bottom of the barrel. I used to drink Coors Extra Gold a lot. Rolling Rock's one I've been getting lately - good beer for the money and I love the green bottles.

Locally we have a microbrewery called Berkshire Brewing Co. Their 'Steel Rail Extra Pale Ale' is a fav of mine. www.berkshirebrewingcompany.com/products.html

Speaking of Fosters, not many people in Australia actually drink it believe it or not and is meant to be there national beer. For those who like Australian beer try "VB" Victoria Bitter.

Kust

Beer is vile. I'll drink it if its absolutely ice-cold... But given the option, I'll fill my mug with a 50/50 mix of J.D. and Diet Coke.

Or just J.D. and ice, if there's no soda handy. 😉

I knew I liked you from the start. My family were beer wholsalers for about 40 years in Boone Co. We started with Stroh's, Miller, and Sterling.

All beer is good beer.

Except Pudweiser. Yes the "P" was intentional, that stuff sucks gigantic monkey ass. :idunno:
XOXO

Yeah I agree Steph. Nothing personal against Anheuser-Busch, but Budweiser is sooooooo overrated! Way too pale. Taste to match. It's cheap, that's what it is. People buy it cause it's cheap and they prefer quantity over quality. I'm just the opposite.

Last year I read that the major breweries are feelin' the heat from the microbreweries and you're going to see more sophisticated brews from AB and Miller.

Rolling Rock, Miller Hi-Life, Corona (with the lime), Amsdel Light

Budweiser is an acceptable cheap draft beer when I go out (like twice a year) but if I want good beer I get Newcastle Ale, Sam Adams or Sam Adams Light, which is the only light beer I really like, though Stella Artois is another lighter beer I can tolerate.
If I splurge for imported it's Kirin, from Japan.

Coors light is my favorite right now. I've drank many imported and domestic beers. Everyone likes something different.

Beer bump!

I'm a craft beer savant, so my tastes fluctuate constantly.

Currently, I'm into pale ales to complement the crisp fall weather. Just bought a sixer of New Belgium's Tour de Fall. It's a wonderful balance of hops and malts.

I'm into local/craft beers. The major brewers know how to make great TV commercials. The smaller brewers know how to make great beer (well, most of them do. I've had some brewpub beer that left a lot to be desired).

One local bar sports a selection of about 30 craft beers. It's fun to try new ones!

I LOVE Sixpoint Brewery. Their Resin ale is a beast.

Among my favs depending on mood:

Franziskaner!

Erdinger!

Spaten!

A good sharp Czech Pilsner.

Guiness

A nice full bodied Bitter, like Fullers ESB or Worthington

A citrus Belgian White

ugh... now i want beer....

Good bump choice. I am very much a fan of Real Ale and my fireplaces is adorned with empty bottles of ale. My favourites are:

Poachers Choice (Damson & Liquorice) from the Badger Brewery
Ghost Ship - Adnams
A Drop Of Nelson's Blood (with Brandy) - Farmer's Ales

I drank a shout out to all you cats in PA today. Victory Brewing's Golden Monkey tripel ale. Spiced and complex! It never disappoints.
