Of course super mario bros 3, base wars, r.c pro am, WCW wrestling, TMNT the arcade version and Maniac mansion, Those r my fav's
 
I loved the first Super Mario Bros! I still play it once and a while online. 🙂
 
Metroid, Top Gun, and Mario Brothers were my favorite NES games. I managed to beat Metroid before my brother and said he'll like the ending and then he comes back to me with his mouth a gasp after being it and says, "Samus is a GIRLLLLL"! LOL!

My mother could never get past the 1st pit on Mario brothers, she keep plunging Mario to a dark and forbidding doom! LOL! Oh poor Mario!

Super Metroid and Final Fantasies III-IV were my favorite SNES games. ^_^

My most favorite games were the Lunar series for Sega CD however. I was enchanted by Alex and Luna's romance and even more enchanted by Hiro and Lucia's relationship...on top of that...Ghaleon was a hottie. ^_^
 
Super Mario Bros. 3, easily my fav game

I loved it so much i tracked down a rare port to the Nintendo Gameboy Advance!

Ivan iron mans super off-road!!!!!!Hell yeah I swear I prolly spent over $200 playin that at the arcade. I know this is a little off subject, but does anybody remember that game at arcades where there was like 100 little light bulbes and you had to press a button when "your" light bulbe lit up? After my parents divorse my dad spent a fortune on me playing that game. Eventualy I got so good I could hit the button at the right time & win everytime. After a few weeks our local arcade banned me from playing the game cuz I made it run out of tickets and they were losing a crap load of money
 
ok F it how bout NES & arcade games? Ridge racer, Cruis'n USA, Rush, Revolition X, Daytona 500, any MK game, NBA jam. I know some of these were ported to home consoles, but it was just sooooooooooo much better at the arcade.I dont know if it was because in racing games you got a gas,brake & clutch pedal + a steering wheel. or in some games you had the greatest joy sticks......*waiting for a joke bout joysticks*, or the whole atmoshere of an arcade. It defined my life as a pre-teen & teen.....And adult sadly.

NES: Metroid, Contra, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Pro Wrestling, & Castlevania.

Arcade: Dragon's Lair, Dig-Dug, Wrestle War, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Zoo Keeper.
 
I still have my NES and the games I bought for it. I am more into RPGs, so I would say the original Final Fantasy and the first four Dragon Warrior games.
 
just got myself a nes with super mario bros , duck hunt , robocop , and bart vs the space mutants

p.s is star wars any good on the nes , i was thinking about getting it next ?

Really good thread, so thank you for starting it. I could go on forever, but I don't need to as most of my favorites mirror most others who have posted in this thread. My top favorites include all 3 Super Mario Bros., the original Zelda, World Championship Wrestling, Mike Tyson's Punch Out and the Ninja Turtles games as well. Many good memories from my childhood, thanks to the hours of enjoyment that games like this provided me.
