Ah, furry art. It's only a matter of time before it becomes an abject sausage fest!
 
Speaking of relevant changes over the last several years, is it just me or did furry art previously contain more cartoon-y or human-like paws, whereas now it's very animalistic, clawed, digitigrade paws? Just some random fetishist's observations.
 
that's still mostly varied depending on the artist's style and personal preference... some might prefer realistic animal paws, others with toony paws and others a little more rarely give them human-like feet.
 
I get that. It's all a matter of personal preference, but it just seems that, to cut to the chase, a lot fewer share my preference. Lately it seems that anyone who draws the stuff is jonesing for the more bestial.
 
Oh believe me, I understand what you mean as I feel the same way in regards to liking animal paws... it's actually the main reason why I give my characters humanesque feet, as... let's face it, in real life I'll be admiring human feet.
 
Esatto! So it seems like in the last several years furry art means there's no subjects I can empathize with and/or it's too animalistic for me to like in the first place. 🙁
 
I dunno, I think a thread like this is really fantastic, regardless of the gender ratio or style 🙂 It's kind of a celebration of furry tickle art. I'm especially ecstatic that I'm seeing so many pictures here that I've never seen before or, better yet, pictures that I've lost and thought lost forever. Sometimes, I feel like furry art doesn't get enough of a positive rap, so seeing something as agreeable as this thread just makes me smile.

Speaking of which, I hope to see more of Equidna's pictures posted here. I've lost far too many of those to the past, not having enough foresight to save them all from his website.
 
Hmmm, y'know I can't give a reasonable guess on the trend of "feet styles" as it were in the fandom. It's mostly based on preferences. My chars for example have typical bird talons for the sake of realism (and to defeat the notion that bird feet aren't ticklish ;p)

Anyway less talk more pics!
