Hi everyone,

So I've been a long time lurker here but have never really had the guts to actually post for well...several reasons. 1) I'm young (21 year old college student), 2) Only my boyfriend knows about my fetish and he doesn't know how much of a fetish it really is, and 3) Well I was kind of nervous to actually post...but here it goes 🙂

I'm Audrey! I'm a Senior in college studying International Studies and Business. I've had a tickling fetish for as long as I can remember and it hasn't faded any over the years haha 🙂. I currently have a boyfriend who knows that I am in to tickling but he doesn't know how much...I haven't told him I actually watch videos and read stories etc...

So I thought I would post here so I could talk to other people like me. I've only had one other boyfriend who knew about my fetish and I told him I watched clips once and he made fun of me for watching "tickle porn" so I am a bit afraid to let that secret out again :\...hence why I came here

Any girls out there who have a similar problem? Or other people? How did you get past that awkward stage in the relationship? I don't think any of my friends (that I know of) have this in common with me so I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I used to think I was a freak but after I started looking here I felt better about it. I have no idea where it came from but I do know that tickling is something that excites me, oh and I am a "ler" though I've never had experience more than a couple of minutes of tickling here and there.

So that was long but I figured this is something thats obviously here to stay so might as well join a community with others like myself 😀

Welcome, Audrey. I've had more than one relationship in which fetishes were an issue that was accepted but not really embraced. If you think your relationship will depend on your boyfriend's feelings about your fetish would impact your relationship, my advice would be to talk about this with him as soon as you trust him; of course you're risking the same awkwardness as last time, but I imagine it's a goal of yours to reach that point. We're all adults who respect each other; there's no need to feel self-conscious if others don't understand -- it's hard to blame them.

In any case, there's a lot to watch and read here, as well as nice people to chat with (although you may find mixed results in the open chat room). Enjoy.

I think it's more acceptable for the female in the relationship to have a kink. Not so much for guys. If your boyfriend did make fun of you for watching tickle clips he probably didn't understand what it meant to you or he was probably just teasing you. But then again maybe he was just being a jerk.

Thanks everyone for replying. My current boyfriend is a real sweetheart and I love him (we've been dating almost a year). He has said he doesn't consider my fetish weird so I think he would be open to trying things. As far as me...I have great sex without involving tickling (I don't NEED) it per say but I would like to try bondage someday and I think my bf would be willing as long as we established safe words etc....though he doesn't like being tickled but doesn't loathe it either

Just for argument's sake, wondering what clues brought Cif to the conclusion of a little gender bender for the OP? I would note there does appear to be some loose use of the phrase "long time lurker" by the OP as it appears from the OP profile that TMF join date was 8-22-12 and the original post in this thread was also 8-22-12. I would not tend to use "long time lurker" in a post the same day I joined but that's just me. I'm sure there is some reasonable explanation.
