How many videos does TC sell?

One of the reasons I ahven't bought a video from RealTickling was that they stopped making the "variety" ones, that features pantyhose and barefeet, because I mainly buy the pantyhose foot tickling videos, especially the suntan or nude pantyhose. The next time they make one, I'll probably buy one and add to their sales.

The greatest tickling video I've ever seen was "Nurse Gone Bad" and another high on the list, which would have been higher but the first girl tickled wasn't that ticklish (not TIB or Kathy's fault) was "Student's Body." Both from RealTickling. So, to make two of the greatest videos ever should look good on RealTickling's record. Student's Body had the greatest set, that awesome house. The whole beginning setup with the teacher watching a tickle video, then the student coming over, being tickled, of course, then tickling the teacher by tricking her that she would love it also...all my talk about subtle elements in videos, THAT'S what I meant. Actually, if the roles of the models had been reversed, (because the teacher was more ticklish), and she was wearing hose, and then barefoot, that would have been the greatest video EVER created.

Their videos also featured Pricilla, probably the most famous tickler ever, according to the comments on this forum. (If they would ever do a "tickle movie," that people talked about a while back, I'm sure she would be the star.)

So, TIB, you've got a lot going for you, even though you get complaints from time to time. Don't forget to continually remind yourself of the good when you hear the critiques.

(of course, people have to realize the difference between critiques and insults...an insult is, "You suck."

"The teacher should have received the most tickling in 'Student's Body'" is a critique...."

PS: along this thread's line, I started one wondering how much these models charge...$1,200 is a lot of money...I always remember Jim Carrey charging 20 million dollars to star in The Cable Guy, when the budget of the entire movie was only 40 million!

*Yawn,....

.... Like I said, ...He's looking for a pat on the back. I think it's funny, actually, the only names he put on there are the ones of us who made good points against them. (Maybe he'll scare us away, haha.)

CDFGA;

i don't know what your problem is with TC or the tib, but can you just leave them alone?

on a seperate note i'd like to add that from what i can see, TC have done far more good than wrong, AND that YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE, because everyone is different.

Don't bother for CDFGA, coolman. About 90% of his posts are just intended to annoy other members. Best ignore him, because attention is all he wants.

TIB,

Thank you for your support, it's good to feel accepted. And don't worry, I know that this isn't always an easy business to be into. I've already had more than my fair share of headaches. Which makes me respect your work and that of the other leading companies even more. But you're right, it can also be fun. I'll hang in there as long as I can.

Well, yesterday I ordered Blondes at Play (along with Micah and the newest one), so bump up the number by one.

I prefer not to get involved in the arguments, but have never been disappointed by the product or the service.

What are all the costs associate with creating a tickling video, asides from the models?

I can answer that one as far as my own company is concerned.

If you only count the costs directly associated with a specific video, salaries represent the largest part of the investment in my case. But there are a couple extra expenses to consider:

-Advertisement for finding models;
-A few MiniDV tapes;

Aside from the money, there's all the time and work involved, and that's pretty damn impressive. Advertising, taking calls, meeting people, auditions, preparation for a commercial session, the actual commercial session, video capturing to the computer, editing the vid, producing it, making stills and sample clips, writing a descriptive text, making a number of copies to be ready for the first orders, announcing the new vid and keeping a presence in the community to promote the vid, etc. It's all very time-consuming, and as far as dealing with candidates is concerned, often incredibly frustrating.

Back to the costs: Just because producing one video doesn't ruin me, I can't simply overlook all the expenses that were necessary to get my company going. I had almost none of the required equipment at first. I had to buy almost all of it. Here's a list of most my The Last Laugh related expenses this last year:

-Camcorder and accessories (my biggest investment by far);
-DV/VHS VCR machine for making copies;
-Computer upgrades: motherboard, processor, RAM, video card, firewire card;
-Capture and editing software;
-A bunch of MiniDV tapes;
-A bunch of VHS tapes;
-Labels for the VHS tapes;
-CD-ROMs for storing clips, pics and other relevant data;
-Massage table;
-Supplies for building the stocks;
-Crank strap for securing the stock to the table;
-A couple of pairs of velcro straps (for bondage);
-A variety of tickling and bondage accessories;
-Two lighting kits;
-An opaque background to block the sun;
-Sheets for hanging on the walls as backgrounds;
-Padding for my apartment door;
-Company name reservation and registration;
-Legal fees for advice and the legal documents;
-Business cards;
-An incredible number of photocopies for billboard advertisement and documents for the models;
-About 10 binders;
-At least a printer's ink cartridge worth for the documents so far;
-A special Internet account and domain name for my web site and email addresses, and the monthly upkeep fee;
-A web site designer for the basic design of the web site;
-A second phone number (not essential, but convenient) paid fof each month;

I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of little things (actually I'm overlooking several on purpose), but this covers most of it. It's pretty scary when you think of it. I sure don't like to think about it myself most of the time. If only I had had part of the equipment to begin with (like the camcorder, for instance). But nope, I had to start from scratch. I must be insane. Is it worth all the time, work, money, and sometimes lack of respect from some close-minded people? I'm not sure. But it can also be fun at times, so what the hell. I got this far, after all. And people have been very supportive. That helps a lot. Thank you all.
