how unattractive are calluses during tickling?

Depends on the degree, why they're there, and how they effect ticklishness. Frankly, 100% smooth feet make me wonder if she ever leaves the house or goes barefoot outdoors, which is something I find sexy as hell but does leave feet less than completely smooth. Dancers, runners, and other active folks can have callouses they came by via hard work, and to be blunt if they have lives they may not have hours to sit and remove every single rough area every day. As long as it's obvious that they do care for their feet and have deliciously ticklish reactions when I want to play, it's all good :smilestar

very very very well said from someone who REALLY KNOWS...

So the question is how unattractive are callouses on the feet. Well I must say that yes callouses are not nice and not good to have on one's feet and not a turn on that is for sure. It just depends my thoughts are: if you try your best to do what u can with lotion and moisturer to get your feet and heels and soles soft and gentle and smooth and not rough and dry and hard-that is all you can do-all you can do is your best. Hopefully your hard work and effort will reward itself and it will be a huge success and help make your feet soft and smooth and not bumpy or rough.

However if one does not try to get their feet soft that is a different story altogether. That is not good and that is not cool. However there are some that I believe do try but might have the case of having extremely dry skin and no matter what he or she does-their feet stay very dry and rough, no matter how much one lotions their feet.
But again-the effort has to be made-so all in all, the ultimate would be to have soft smooth feet not rough and dry or bumpy-but this is not a perfect world, everyone has quirks and flaws-some physical attributes one is not happy or proud of. Just depends.

But must say I do find soft feet and not rough feet a turn on more so, but can't say that it greatly bothers me too much-since my favorite places to tickle guys or tickle women-or whoever is my lee-primarily not the feet. I mean I do love to tickle the feet and love to tickle the toes and soles and heels-but I am more into loving to tickle the sides, tummy, and sides, and love tickling the feet like I said -also especially the legs I love that. also love tickling the back of the neck and tickling up and down the spine-tickling the back of the legs and back of the knees.

As you can see I love tickling other areas besides the primary general popular focus being the feet.

Besides looking kinda gross, I would think severe callouses would inhibit ticklishness.

It really depends on how calloused you're talking. A lot of people have mild callouses and that has never bothered me. Now, if their feet are absolutely covered in them and they look like they've never heard the word "lotion", then I'd have a problem.

Yeah, a certain degree of callous is necessary just to even walk upright. I remember my sister bought one of those razor things and sliced off all of the natural protection of her foot and couldn't walk for a bit.

To be honest, I have more of a problem with the corn-chip lookin' toenails than callouses.

Mairead makes a good point about callouses inhibiting ticklishness of the foot. However, I knew a girl in college who had fairly calloused feet. I dont mean covered in them, but very calloused, and yet, her arch was one of the most ticklish I had ever encountered. A very calloused foot is a turnoff, but, that being said, I've encountered very soft soles that were hardly ticklish, and ones with many more callouses, that were off the chart ticklish.

Yikes! Corn-chip toenails! I agree, that's leagues beyond worse. If you see that, there are some deeper, far ickier problems going on there. I'd have to call in the HazMat squad. :xlime:

If your feet look like this:

then you may already be dead...

Sharing Information From My Pedicurist

The battle with keeping my feet as free from calluses and cracked heels as possible is eternal. For a long time, I tried just about everything that hit the market to try and combat--the care I had to put in nightly became a freeking 45 minute project. Files, callus-planer, electric-spinny-sander-thingy, creams...I damn near needed a part-time job just to afford all the stuff. Eventually I started getting professional pedicures out of desperation, and while they were helping, I still fought with problems with my heels, outer edges of my feet under the little toes, mid-balls of my feet and the exterior edges of my big toes. Pedicures made it better, but it would still take Summer (my regular pedicurist) almost an hour and a half to take care of my feet if I waited longer than a couple weeks between visits.

During one of the times I went to see to see her, I sat in her chair pissing and moaning about it while she was working on me, telling her everything I just related above.

She said, "Okay, three things. With your feet especially. First, about your shoes: stop wearing any kind of open shoes like sandals or flip-flops, make sure they have backs to support your heels or they'll crack, especially if they're already dry and you carry extra weight. Think about what happens to the skin of a tomato if you push down hard on the top of it--that's what you're dealing with. And don't wear any kind of shoes with leather insoles if you aren't wearing socks, it sucks the moisture out of your skin and dries you out faster than anything.

"Second, sorry but you have to keep the whole barefoot-thing to a total minimum, even in your house. If you're going to walk, wear something that has padding between your feet and the floor, even if it's just slippers, but wear something all the time. Save being barefoot for your "special occasions". (Referring to foot worship and such. She's fully aware of my fixation with my feet and is pretty much also aware of my tickling/foot worship activities.)

"And third, you're spending way too much money on all those creams and lotions and crap. You want fast results? Get yourself a tub of the cheapest petroleum jelly you can find, totally slather your feet with it thick, like icing a cake, every night, and I mean every single night, put on a pair of heavy socks (she called them "spa socks") and sleep in them. You do those three things exactly the way I'm telling you and I guarantee that inside of two weeks, you'll see some major results. And then I won't have to bust my ass like this every time, either." (Summer is a young Chinese girl from New Orleans and has never, ever had a problem with speaking her mind to me. Ever. :blaugh: )

I relate this to you guys because I, too, dislike calluses, most especially my own, and what Summer told me works. Now all I have to do is pumice or good foot scrub in the shower, recommended footwear (I know a lot of people would hate that idea--I did, too--but the desire to lose the rough feet outweighed the hate for me 😀) and the nightly Vaseline/sock ritual...my feet seriously haven't looked this good in years, it's waaay easier and it's cheap! :xpulcy:

She prob had an infection...yipes!

Worse than calluses is just plain old jacked up, warty, crusty, or overbearingly smelly feet.

I can work around calluses because like earlier mentioned, there are a lot of people out there with rough feet because of what they do (job, sports, etc.) I haven't met many men who have baby soft feet, and my probably aren't baby soft either. My hardest area is my heels, but my heels are also insanely ticklish.

Sometimes if there is a problem before play, an impromptu pedicure or just slathering the foot down with good lotion or moisturizers will do the trick (temporarily).

I've heard about the petroleum jelly thing too, and it does work.

Calluses are major turn off, feet don't have to be perfect but calluses, unkept nails, etc are turn offs..

Good Point. Perfection is not the issue for me. I love womens feet and prefer them smooth, however some degree of hard skin in the soles is normal and even sexy!

Yes its a matter of attitude towards having soft and nice feeet, but its not always possible

Runners soles

Yes! I agree with Bella. I had a girfriend who runs 10 km a day. She takes care of her whole body and has very sexy feet, however her soles have slightly calloused spots(balls and outer side of the big toes) And there is no solution unless she stops intense running.
The same apply toe ballerinas or anyone who usually goes barefoot.

Anyway I prefer smooth soles, but a major turn off are unkept toe nails or corns on the top of the toes. I also dislike very much severe bunions!
