Its not so bad until ot gets past like 110. Id take arizona at 100 vs back home at 85 with humidity. Basically you just dont go outside much. You go from the air conditioned house to the air conditioned car to the air conditioned job/mall/etc lol

Sounds like it would have been hell to spend a summer there in, say, 1950 when air conditioning was rare and expensive. 😱

There have been some but not in my area.
 
Did you get a drivers license when living in Chicago? I met people who lived in NYC when I was in service that had never driven.

Nope, I got my license after moving to Arizona. Having a car in Chicago is almost a hindrance. My building charged 200 a month for a parking space, not to mention gas, insurance, and parking in the city proper which is about 30-50 dollars a day. At 20-30 a week, you can take the CTA as many times as you want.
