Is something wrong with ticklingforum.com?

The Deity knoweth all, although I find my powers strangely dimished by the downitude of the server. Seems the box Jeffrey was standing on to hook up the DSL line wasn't 'quite' tall enough, and Mimic was only interested in standing about making wrestling noises back at Lazbo. An odd lot, you see.

Holy Crap! I didnt mean to start all of this and I do apologise Ness and Val as I know you to be good folks. I just took exception to the way in which the remarks were made and I guess the gentleman above was quite correct in that I let the heat of the argument cloud my judgement on some of the words I typed.

I surely didnt want this to be a lets bash the TT mod staff thread and for that I am truly sorry.

Tacos...hmmm...
I had tacos last night oddly enough. Those Old ElPaso box things are quite yummy though they can't hold a candle to some good ol' fashioned Taco bell take-out. 😀
 
Theres this hole-in-the-wall mexican restraunt near where I live where they cook with fresh ingredients and everything is authentic. Its a small, family owned restraunt, but its really good.

And its actually pretty cheap. For what it would cost you to buy a value meal from Taco Bell, you could have two of these tacos, and boy are they good. Its beats fast food any day. That stuff isn't even real mexican food anyway. You haven't had mexican food until you've had mexican food, if you take my meaning.

Its the same for chinese, which is my favorite. That, and japanese and some italian food.
 
Thanks, Dade, from me as well. The title of the thread was just a "straight line" begging for a punchline; it would have been funny regardless of which forum or site had been mentioned 🙂

(BTW, Ness, I also noticed that TT was running abnormally slow yesterday, and my Internet connection dropped ten minutes into my last login. I hope whatever problem we had has been fixed.)

I agree with the folks who said that the TMF and TT are both cool in their own ways. Personally, I'm glad that one forum isn't a carbon copy of the other. I don't think it's wrong to like one above the other. They are different, after all. But both have lots of cool people I've grown quite fond of. The fact that more tickling forums are coming into being and increasing membership indicates a growing interest in and an acceptance of recreational tickling. What's not to like about that? 🙂
 
the hollywood brother has had some fun in a joking way by proclaiming this site as the king of all tickling sites. While it is true the hollywood brother is in all of the job the people here do, there are other good sites. THe TMF has some good points but for the hollywood brother he enjoys the people on this site.

Now as far as what sounds like Ness bashing, this has to stop people. Ness has done nothing but be the glue that helps keep us together and for that the hollywood brother thanks you ness

also the hollywood brother wants to thank everyone who works hard to keep this site a great place for all tickle fanatics everywhere

In all honesty, I do like TMF better, but I still think the forums are cliquey. Is that even a word? Honestly, while the clip media is superior here, I think TMF is superior content wise.

And I guess that's all right, I mean, the people who frequent them have the right to do whatever. People can like whatever they want. I don't like the fact that the story forum here looks like a underfed child in a third world country. That's where I think the most important stuff goes, as I think writing is beyond anything else. And I'm a glorywhore and wanted to know how my crappy story was coming along. :-(

So, can I get my damn taco now?
 
I'm all for authentic Mexican food, as rare as it is here in NJ 😛 I know Taco Bell doesn't attempt any sort of authenticity but I never said I love Mexican food, I said I love Taco Bell. 😀 And I do. I can even forgive them for using Pepsi instead of Coke. mmmmmmmmm.......chalupa.......
