Is Tickle Porn industry dying?

I feel like there are less and less video’s being made nowadays, with big players completely disapearing from the market (Tickle Submission, Tickle Centrals and so on). I know that the biggest contributor was Piracy, but it’s just said since other kind of porn is still being produced. What do y’all think? Nylon tickling (my personal favorite was hit even more by this trend.)

Yes and no. Piracy is massive, people are more willing than ever to admit they'll get their tickleporn without paying, and the odds of ever being someone who makes their living entirely off of the content are likely lower than winning the lottery.

That said; it's easier than ever to just make tickling videos for amateurs and no-names. Even shit-tier iPhones have more than competent cameras. The stuff that California Sole does for free on his tumblr is arguably as good or better than most of the studios out there now. The rise of "selling feet pics" from a meme to something people are more than willing to actually do has opened up a huge swathe of people willing to do tickling content. There's opportunity to be had for anyone willing to take it.

Nobody's going to start up a Tickling Paradise in 2020. There's almost certainly never going to be anyone on the level of Tickle Abuse ever again. That era is almost without a doubt dead and buried due in no small part to the attitudes of the audience. But alongside that was a massive shift in affordable technology and social attitudes towards such shenanigans where there's still gold to be mined. It's just not gold that's going to sell for much anymore.

Uh you make porn
You probably don't see the difference.

Pornography - printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate sexual excitement.

Pornography? The West has evolved a lot during this past generation. The average young woman's sexual repertoire today includes happily offered, well-practised skills of a nature that my father (1911-1988) would have hesitated to request from a hardened professional.

You don't think clips with non nude non sexual tockling doesn't stimulate sexual excitement? Most people who buy tickle clips probably have a tickle fetish.
Fetish- a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc.

This. I discovered a new studio by accident yesterday. It's called TickledPink; there's a couple of videos I am going to buy tomorrow. In my experience; if you look hard enough, you can always find something that you like. You can also find something that is new to you.

I hope pure tickling industry comes back. Don't care much about porn

In fact, I think any innocent video with a beautiful smiling person may stimulate sexual excitement, which is natural and I don't see anything wrong with that. And that doesn't make it pornography.
Pornography as a term means something more explicit, dirty and unnatural. Like a difference between a beautiful actress staring in a romantic movie and a prostitute or webcam model (no offence to them either).

You don't call a movie that includes romantic and even erotic scenes porno, if only you are not from one of the muslim countries of course.

Speaking of fetish, tickling generally is not a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body. It's about the beauty of natural emotions that can't be resisted.
Those with the fetish prefer to see mainly close-up shots of soles into the camera, not caring much about aesthetics and anything else.

tickletherapist is in russia where i think porn is illegal, so he has to take this 'stance'
It's my opinion not a "stance" and it wouldn't change depending on what's illegal or not in one country or another.
Some people just don't see the difference between porn and beauty.

For you it's always only porn and your mindset won't change.
To each their own. It's subjective

I agree with the comment that piracy has played a large part in decimating the pool of folks willing to make tickling content. Especially on Instagram and Pornhub, pirated videos are out of control. Clips that are obviously stolen get hundreds of likes. And of course, this directly de-incentivizes people coming to work in the industry.

Also, lots of the folks making tickle porn now are independent models like myself running our own fan sites or clip stores and collaborating directly with other models. Though I've worked with a few studios too!

I've seen a few studios withdraw a little more with the pandemic or rely on their backlog in lieu of doing new shoots. They are out there! Some of the studio disappearances are definitely also just due to the owners aging out, too.

I wish this forum had a "like" button. I agree with a lot of what's been said but I think it boils down to the "industry" being disrupted. Barrier of entry to making "tickle porn" or "content" as it's referred to now, is super low. Add social media being a runaway train and being able to go directly to a "model" vs a production house, it's just a new world. There are still production houses putting out content (present company included) but yea, there's just more outlets for people to get their "content". It's not dead, just a much wider landscape of places to find what you're looking for.

Piracy has without a doubt taken it's toll. I remember years ago, someone on here talked about finding out that some of their content was being pirated, and how they knew exactly who was sharing the content. Customs they made were being posted online. I assume it was pornhub. What happened was, customs were being shared before they were actually uploaded to their store for the public. At that point, only the producer and the person who ordered the customs had access to the clips. So either the person was uploading the clips themselves, or they shared them with someone else and they uploaded it. Either way, the customs were being shared by the person who ordered it.

Over the past few years, I've trended more towards putting money aside for customs. They're gonna cost more no doubt, but you're gonna get exactly what you want. Every now and then I see a clip that I'll purchase, but lately it's been customs all the way for me. I won't be surprised if that becomes the norm down the road in general.

All of this is true. The porn argument doesn't even need to be had here. Piracy is 100% the major issue. But it was an issue even when I was younger and I realized lately that this may be a big reason as well. Teens need access to porn because they crave it. We put up paywalls, age verification's, etc but then remember back then we all STILL somehow saw videos WAY out of our age range somehow. I think thats what started the boom of piracy. Teens who are intelligent enough to crack the system in some way then file share. Then add people who want money on top of that so they see a profit, cheap people, international people from a society of poverty and then it becomes easier and easier and here we are.
Now as producers our overhead is MASSIVE. People don't want to spend the money at all with free content out there and the main times MOST people buy content is when they're alone and massively horny. Well if you have a search engine with free videos you will get off without a 2nd thought. So now when I book a model I need to pay them which can cost 200-400 depending on time, what we shoot, etc. Now if I get 3 videos an hour for 14.99 I need to sell that content AND make a profitable return. This can be impossible when I post a clip and 2 days later its all over pornhub. Now I am fighting piracy and PH takes too long to flag and remove content. So I now I lost anywhere from 250-400. So lets observe that vs older producers.
I have a lot of cool friends who are down to get tickled so lets say I do a tickle renaissance. These models have to travel to me, shoot, and get some type of compensation. I now lose a whole day to shoot and prep, backup footage, and edit. Close to 12-16 hours of work at times with 4-6 models and now I could have paid 800-1200. Not to mention food, drinks, etc and if you have assistants. Now some people get lucky and can do this for little to no money but MOST cannot. This can cause a MASSIVE debt inducing overhead. This is the stuff I want people to think about when they steal. We are not major companies with sponsors we are independent producers. I am 27 with 3 dogs and a son. I have to bust my ass to make ends meet and The Tickle Room is something I do on the side and fell in love doing because of the cool ass fans both men and women that I have. Customs, sessions, sponsors will ALWAYS help producers but piracy makes the profit go down heavily making it WAY harder for us.
But the other major issue coming in right now is actually stuff like Only Fans and instagram with Quality over quantity becoming a massive issue. Someone else can get into that one so I am not writing a masters thesis on this lmfao (I actually did a social essay on this topic in College)
