Jen needs to learn not to think out loud! What a gaff, handing all that vital intelligence over to her enemies… those Franken-dollies must be busy sharpening their feathers as we speak! I am happy to see that Jen got to enjoy a few minutes of pleasant relaxation (it always pleases me to see comix characters indulge in ordinary, homey comforts rather than being constantly set-upon; it broadens the narrative, giving their struggle credibility). I'm sure she'll need to marshal her strength, now that her adversaries understand her special weakness!
Thanks, LBH!
😀 Indeed Jen would have been better off if she had not talked out loud, but then again she thinks she's there all by herself. The dolls indeed are a nasty 'enemy' but... they are only the start.
😉 Indeed it is nice for Jen to have some nice rest and relaxation before everything goes haywire. A nice shower and reading a comic. It's not much... she'll need her strength, REALLY need her strength very soon as something else unexpected is about to happen.
By the way, I haven't put this into straight words, but the 'market' mentioned in the comic actually refers to the 'black market' which secretly hints to the Low Roads.
😛 In fact, Peggy has visited the low roads once, to try to find a present for Jen (experimental picture from the past).
Whoa Iloh, you know the comic title in this page would make an excellent title for another comic you could possibly think of doing...:26:
It is fun to throw in a few so called 'easter eggs' now and then. You may have noticed I do that in many comics. In such way Katie has made a guest appearance in the mermaid comic, Low Roads in FEET, etc. Another comic I did (not a tk comic so you don't know it) has something of a previous comic as well.
Well well well...I see whats coming next. But wow, I can not see where the direction this story is going. This makes it VERY interesting.
This is a long chapter. It goes all the way from here (paralell to Jen's chapter 4) to the 'end of the world'. That is is seven chapters, but you won't get to seel all of them (in much detail) as Jen will be quite busy with the tasks ahead. You can only guess what will happen at the end, but I will not reveal that until much later on. In addition there are some challenges and side-trackings (obstacles really) that Jen has to overcome.
