I very much like the newest image that EcEu submitted.

As far as adding personal touches to whatever the final image ends up being... As long as the base image remains intact and recognizable, I'm all for folks being free to do as they like with it to make it more their own. All tickle lovers have different tastes/preferences in their play, without that changing the fact that they're still tickle lovers. Adding personal touches to the symbol shouldn't make any more differnce, IMO.

Actually, this post reminded me of a tickling symbol thread from a while ago... somebody brought up the idea that the symbol have specific variations to reflect those preferences. Like, one symbol, but tweaked one way for ler and another way for lee, kind of thing.

Just a thought.

As an example, the neuron tree without the hole could be for ler, and with the hole could be lee. Or like, half of a hole for switch... or something.

Could maybe even put a hole in the centre of EcEu's design?

I for one like the idea of preset modifications to indicate tickling alignment. 😀

Interesting concept. I think it's definately doable...in whatever form.
 
just ant to add, i tried putting a hole in the design, variable sizes, they make the design end up looking like a pinwheel, or have incomplete lines that do not connect.
 
put the circle don't disconnect the lines they all meet in the center it symbolizes the lee and ler meet

The hole on the tree is for both the lee and ler, in shows that one cannot exist without the other.
 
I'm going to work with this symbol that I found on a medical site I think a lot pertains to us but have to spruce it up. As is it looks like the old Balentine ale or olympics dang I spell like shit
 
ok I guess it's dead before it starts. I'll come up with something and finish it before I post for positive suggestions
 
I understand that I want to make a symbol to bring together styles and types of tickling to show that many can come together in one unified community like this one it can be stars circles squares but interlocking and in the center Tickling that was my thought. It is not lost yet lol
 
I agree and I'm trying to get together with Hari to try and figure the best way to proceed with it.
 
It appears things have reached a slowness, might be an idea to bring up whether its time to cut it short and disscuss voting, what critiria each entry should meet etc,

or shall we hold out and hope for more ideas? I would like to but I find myself wondering if theres anything more to come?
 
I think we need to advertise the thread. It seems that only a couple handfuls of people were even paying attention. We can't vote if nobody knows what we're doing.

Starting a new thread with the leading symbols posted, accompanied by a quick summary of the prevalent pros and cons (as well as a link to AODs thread for people to see all the other submission)

People who are registered on the other forums like UKTF and TT to post there and make noise about this thread.

Raising awareness here at the TMF, possibly getting a link in the News box.

Ok, so, what images are leading? what counts? what doesnt count?

At the moment there is a thread as you know, posted by AOD with all submissions posted..

How are we going to go about working out which are valid and which are not?

I have my opinions on what I think is valid for a symbol suitable for everyone, but others opinions of that may vary.

Maybe ask about getting this thread made a sticky? (Which they can remove once all is said and done) to try and get more attention.
