Knismolagniac symbol???

With a handful of different opinions and outlooks, it is a little difficult. 🙂

I think the main focal image needs to continuously be posted as the pages keep going along. I'm not entirely sure what exactly it is we seemed to have apparently agreed on. I've seen boatload's of images, but not one where we've been, "Ah! That's it."

Or I missed that image in the sea of others. 🙂

the problem I have with those, is that the smiles are already there, and I believe they look far more symbolic when theyre hinted, adding the eyes makes the symbol silly, and I dont mean that in a nasty way, but cartoony smily faces are classically silly. I think they look nice but should be added after if people want to make a big point of the smiles that are already there. I just feel it looks abit tacky to have smily faces on a symbol.

I don't disagree. I like the smilies, but I don't have a problem adding them myself. I think the neuron stands well on its own.

making a graphic too complex can ruin it. the original neuron sign is simple, elegant, and badass. while i can appreciate the effort to enhance it all these things being added to the original design makes me like it less.
Remember that episode of aqua teen hunger force where Shake becomes a superhero called "the Drizzle". He hires a t-shirt company to design a logo for him and what he gets back is a bunch of clip art images of various villains running amok on the front of a t-shirt. Shake points out how it’s too busy and no one will understand it. His observation is borne out when Shake goes on an angry rampage through the city, which is caught on film by the local news, but the best they can make out of the design on the shirt Shake is wearing is “ants marching at a picnic.”
My vote's for keeping it simple. People can personally modify it to their own liking.

I'll let someone else toss this together if they want. But, what about having five branches (representing five fingers) rather than the current four? That might make a difference....or not.

I like ECEU's work as well but it is not something I would wear as a tatoo...


So far the real problem I see here is that we have a few good ideas from about a dozen or so members...

This is not in any way going to take off unless a lot more of the community gets involved and not just those of us from the TMF..

If we are trying to form a symbol for the fetish then far more people involved in the fetish have to take part...

It seems that disagreements are getting in the way of progress...


It also seems that the "neuron symbol" in it's basic form, could be exactly what we're looking for.

I have seen more alterations to that very symbol than any other sign in this entire thread...

Every other symbol either gets complaints or is ignored completely... The neuron symbol has seemingly overshadowed everything else! 🙂

But getting back to the neuron sign, once someone decides to add something else to it, someone provides a disagreement to the change and then we're back to square one. It's seemingly getting us nowhere...


So basically the "neuron sign" in it's basic form (from the last time it was altered and agreed upon), could be the very symbol design we are looking for...

I say "in it's basic form," because most of the time it gets responses of uncertainty or disagreement when the basic design gets changed.

If it's not exactly what we want, then we might want to consider looking at more of the other earlier symbols in this thread as well and see how those could be changed too... Fresh Ideas can emerge from them as well...


Unless of course the "Neuron symbol" in it's basic form, is officially considered... "THE symbol"...

It's okay with me with any symbol as long as we have a large consensus with it. 😉

I hear ya, and have thought alot about that very thing.

I came to these conclusions:

Each major forum was informed and invited to take part as branches from the same tree 😉 And with how busy this thread has been, ide wager at least the entire active community on this forum is aware of whats happening. So my thoughts are that everyone has had a fair oppertunity to put theyre say/ideas in....well as much as we CAN do. So if peopel dont want to get involved then it doesnt really matter, itl be a smaller group that want this and a smaller group that will end up provided it.

At first this worried me, I figured if too few people take part, the whole thing will become totally irrelevant, but I thought abit more and figured it didnt really matter, as long as some people have been passionate and creative enuf to come up with and agree on, a symbol that to them, symbolized this fetish, then that symbol would be valid to them , at least.

And at that point, the symbol itself would be a symbol for tickling via its meaning and the fact that it exists.

And following that, the symbol would have 2 possible roads to roll down:

First being that no one ever has any more interest in it and it dies a slow pittyful death following this thread.

The second being that over time, people who seek a symbol are shown what happened here and what the result was and maybe they accept it for what it is and find meaning in it. When that good ol "tickling tattoo" thread gets posted next, someone goes , "well, theres this symbol that was thought up?" and maybe they go with it.

If the latter is successful enuf, over the years the symbol will grow and spread and hopefully one day may be recognised on a broad level within this community.

I seriously doubt that many symbols gain universal recognition by all concerned very quickly.

Ide wager this the typical path of most symbols you see about these days.

So if not many people get involved, it aint the end, its just a slower begining.

We plant the seed and see if it grows 🙂

I definitely think it's important that folks into tickling outside of the TMF have an equal say in what's going on here 🙂

Yeah, now and then, TT has had two threads, one I believe sunk, The on eI posted got a few posts, mostly wishing good luck 😛

The UKTF active majority arnt interested in the concept really, but a few people seemd to like it.

No ideas have been exchanged on the forums up to now.

....and here's a nice biohazard symbol. While I agree that some of our members, from various posts I've seen over the years, can be quite toxic, I feel it's best not to blur the distinction. Capnmad's promised a reworking of his BDSM triskele, and I look forward to seeing it.

An idea like this should not be decided upon in a week or possibly even a month. It takes time for something that will spark the entire community and bring us together.

LOL....this is exactly the notion that I mentioned in my last comment!... (That is if anyone read it 😉 )... every time the "Neuron Tree" get a minor alteration... there's always a disagreement with it's new alteration...

I guess the symbol in it's basic form is just too deeply rooted in most members preference to accept any change to it!

LOL...It's kinda funny too...
whenever a new alteration concept is presented for the Neuron Tree, I always estimate that there is a strong chance that it will get at least two disagreements...

I have to disagree with the non use of feathers as well. Many here feel that not everyone uses feathers to tickle with well feathers symbolize a lot more than just the way some use them to tickle with ie. they symbolize a soft touch as well as the opposite the sharp quill end they represent the beauty of a bird and many birds are colorful so it's has a lot more meaning than just something to use to tickle with. Color in itself are symbols of a sort show someone an 8 sided figure they most likely will say octagon make it red they say stop so the use of color I would not completely rule out red could be hot blue could be cold. I guess what I'm trying to say is we should not be so critical and look for more meaning.

Jules still has win in my book. Just out of curiousity, what would Hari's symbol look like as the focal point of EcEu's design?

Meaning, Hari's center and upfront, with EcEu's as a backdrop.
