About the other comic, you are talking about the adventures of Tina Espadrille.
I should have them all. Four pics, if I recall well, but I wouldn't put my finger on it.

Thirdly and lastly - when this BAC comic has been translated to italian, some of the subtler nuances went lost.

Since BAC often resorted to puns - which couldn't really be translated - I tried to figure them out, remaining true to his humour.

Censorship of BAC's work ???

I cannot, repeat, cannot BELIEVE my eyes. That anyone in the tickling community would have the audacity to edit, much less censor, art on this website (of all places). Whoever is responsible for that should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Is this a tickling site run by the religious right or something??? I swear, for a website dedicated to a sexual fetish, I have never seen a more uptight bunch of people -- "I don't like bondage," "I don't like nudity," "I don't like sex" -- Christ Almighty. This site surely can be the definition of irony.

You know, BAC worked all his life to give us top quality fetish art. I can't believe that someone has so little respect for someone else's work, and is so fucking arrogant that they would even think to impose their own aesthetic onto someone else's art. God DAMMIT, that pisses me off.

Not much to say: he said he was offended by Mr Otoeku's member and I chose to avoid an argument.

You can't please them all.

Against anybody's better judgement I am replying to show my point.


First of all, the whole argument about censorship is pointless.
It is no offence done to BAC, the original artist.

Those pics were copied from a magazine, years ago, and illegally spread over the web.
You might complain I edited a member out - I will not comment on this, though.

But the original artist is being swindled out of his art without his consent and knowledge, so I wonder why you complain about a tasteful editing, while turning a blind eye over a possible copyright breach.


Second, I was fresh new when I posted those pics, and some guy complained vehemently about the exposed member.
I chose to do some editing, since I didn't really know the forum's stance, back then.

I wouldn't probably bother, now, since it took time anyway, and I should have disregarded a lone complainer.


Third, I have a negative outlook and I consider this argument about censorship and freedom of speech senseless.
Speech is no right. Speech is a privilege.

People take it for granted, and exploit what they consider a right, opening their collective mouths at random.
This is no way to preserve democracy.
This is just a way to drown sensible complaints in a sea of nonsense.

It is not freedom of speech anymore. It is white noise, and you can't make the single voices out anymore.


Getting back to topic, Cheshire posted the original pic, so you've been hidden nothing.
Your "rights" are safe again.

I'll think twice before posting new stuff.

And the reason I get so hot over censorship on this website (especially censorship to appease homophobia), is that we can never evolve as sexually tolerant people if we censor things that squick our little sensibilities. Of course there are lines we do not want to cross. But if adult human anatomy is out of bounds, that's just unhealthy. That's the essence of my point here.

Ness, I don't know if it was you who deleted Blondlover's homophobic post, but I hope you'll agree that even though it was offensive, it should have been left for others to read. Deleting it is censorship also. Maybe someone would have read that, realized how absurd it sounded, and then questioned their own feelings. Maybe that experience would have changed someone's life for the better. Maybe. Just my thoughts.
