I guess it is sort of hypocritical for guys to have this attitude, but I'm really not sure what to do about that...
I think it's time for a big gay hug for the entire forum.

It's almost not even worth saying because I know it won't breach the thickness of your skulls, but I will anyway.
Men, if you believe that tickling another man threatens your masculinity in some way or another, or that it means you are homosexual, then clearly you aren't very secure in your sexuality. Period.
If I tickle a female friend, does that make me a lesbian? Uh, no. Der. Double standards are not attractive.
I have plenty of straight male friends who tickle *gasp*, egads! their other straight male friends. None of them are gay. Not a one. Then I have my gay male friends who tickle their other gay male friends. That doesn't even mean it's sexual. It just means that I have a bunch of male friends who like horseplay.
Sheesh. The ignorance and insecurity exhibited is overwhelming.
Yeah, it seems that guys who are not into m/m tickling are coming across as ogres from the Dark Ages or something like that in this thread, so I'm glad some folks are starting to clarify their views. I guess that for guys for whom tickling has no sexual connotation, playful m/m tickling can be passed off as harmless horseplay. For those who have the fetish, I'd have to say it's something more. At risk of sounding defensive, I swear I really have no problem with homosexuality at all. I'm exposed to it a lot. A good friend of mine is a DJ in a gay bar, and my friends and I (male, female, gay, straight) go there to hang out and I get hit on by dudes and all that. It doesn't bother me, but it doesn't make me want to experiment either. If one of my (straight) buddies happened to playfully tickle me, of course I wouldn't take it as a sexual come-on and freak out and begin compulsively vomiting, etc., but I'd probably would not retaliate in a similar manner because, unbeknownst to him, it means something else entirely to me. If that makes me ignorant/insecure/whatever, then I'll just have to live with that, because I'm not planning to prove that I'm secure in my manhood by allowing my buddies to hold me down and gang tickle me any time soon.
Sushi, i don't think anybody is saying you have to like m/m tickling or your a close minded bigot. What people general are saying is that if you don't like m/m thats cool, just don't tell people that if a person does like m/m tickling, they are homosexual because of that. I think thats the real thing that people don't like.
*sigh*
I'm not even going to discuss m/m tickling being gay. It's up to the individual ticklephile to determine their comfort level with m/m.
What distresses me is the intolerance in some of the responses. It seems in the race to be the most PC, some folks have taken the tact of marginalizing, generalizing and outright insulting those who don't share their worldview. It is incongruent for those who express tolerance for different sexualities to then turn around and ridicule others who are legitimately uncomfortable. No one said m/m was bad or deviant. They used terms like "not my cup of tea" or "not for me." This was met with "narrow-minded" and "homophobic." I find these responses shameful and unbalanced. No one has to enjoy all aspects of tickling. To denigrate those who pick and choose their personal delights, breaks down discourse and is unhealthy for our community. Sexuality and fetish are very personal and subjective. They should not be used as a "I'm more tolerant than you" club to smack folks that you disagree with.
Sorry if that came off as scolding, but some of yall need to fall back.
That's great. You support people selecting which aspects of tickling they find palatable. In that you are very open minded to your credit. But you display appalling intolerance for those who associate m/m tickling differently than you do. It's one thing to disagree but quite another to cast insults. I've had posts deleted and have been banned for less.I personally have no problems with anyone who doesn't like m/m. It's a personal choice, and I'm not bashing those who don't "enjoy all aspects of tickling".
I considerate it narrow-minded to label views with which one doesn't agree as "narrow-minded." It's like saying, "I will not tolerate any intolerance!"What I consider narrow-minded are responses like drew70's who say that m/m tickling is unconventional and abnormal. What I consider narrow-minded are those who say m/m is most certainly homosexual, no matter the situation. What I consider narrow-minded is the viewpoint that m/m definitely has gay sexual undertones, but f/f more often than not doesn't.
Riiiight, now that you've gotten a couple of last punches in. 😀Igorance such as that does get me angry. You're right when you say some of us have resorted to insulting, which is why I'm only responding to what you've said, and I'm now stepping down and rolling my eyes from the sidelines.
is this how you would have a debate with Euphie in person? it really just seems like you're just tearing apart her opinions just to cause a stir
