Mandy Moore and Kristen Bell Wearing Very.. Revealing Gowns At Golden Globes.

So...you don't know, you're just guessing that it's something. Actually, the top of the bustier was designed to rip away, and the "bra" under it was just lacy trim. It was planned.
But who gives a damn? You're comparing a Super Bowl stunt to what actresses are wearing to an event.

Janet Jackson's net worth is approximately $150 million. She toured last year, and will tour again this year.
Just because you don't see something, doesn't mean it's not there.
The moon might not be visible where you are right now. Does that mean it's not there?

What point was that again?

1. That's what I'm saying. Nobody really knows but JJ herself, not even you. and, PS, How do you know the top was made to tear away? Did you make it? I am not saying I did, but you have to knew the facts before saying something, and not believe everything you hear on the news.

2. My bad

3. people love to talk about famous people.

I know the top was made to tear away because I take the time to read about things, instead of just making up facts. http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/02/02/superbowl.jackson/
"Jackson spokesman Stephen Huvane said the incident "was a malfunction of the wardrobe; it was not intentional. ... He was supposed to pull away the bustier and leave the red-lace bra."
You know how long it took me to find that? About 30 seconds.

2. My bad
Uh-huh.

3. people love to talk about famous people.
Yeah? Then why is no one talking about what men wore to the Golden Globes?

IMO they actually look good, nothing new or unusual about their dresses that hasn't been worn before.

Yeah? Then why is no one talking about what men wore to the Golden Globes?

THIS!!

Also, the JJ incident was planned unless JJ is somehow unaware of what she was wearing as the tear away was choreographed. Also, i dont see how that argument applies to this topic.

Well, for starters, you read that on a NEWS site. and, like I said, no-one knows first hand what happened but JJ.

Second. There is only so much you can say about the classic tux [which is what most men wear to the GG.

"NEWS site?" what are you saying? Trust nothing but what you make up in your own head??

P.S. Evan Rachel Wood wore a tux. Looked fucking amazing :

No one mentioned that.

People love to talk about famous people so ima bring up some random situation and as long as famous people are involved, it applies? Lol

And as far as what the men were wearing, fashion experts seem to have a lot to say about what the men wore that night. There were a lot of different colored tuxes, even what looked like a brown velvet tux worn by Childish Gambino.

But boobies, i guess...

Not even boobies.
Part of the boobies.

We're obsessed with boobies (hence the thread), but don't you dare breastfeed in public.
That's gross.

Look I know we got off topic here. I was just using JJ as a tool of sorts, to say that people love to talk. I mean, what, they had her in the news for about three weeks. [heck, we have talked about it how long]

but, really. IMO, JJ was the victim in all of it. Now, before anyone starts on that, let me explain. It was her manger fault. He/she is suppose to make sure nothing like that happens. and, Little as you think people in the music biz being in control of their own lives, they still have to do what their mangers tell them to do.

and to Wolf: I am not making stuff up in my head. All I'm saying is I wish the news people had talked to the people closest to the incident, like JJ, the one that made the top and bra, ETC. instead of having an old-fashioned witch hunt.

You're kidding, right? Managers make their money off the talent. The talent can hire and fire them at will. The managers don't control them. Do you really think Janet Jackson took orders from her manager? Where the hell are you getting your information?

The quote was from JJ's spokesman. It was his job to answer questions on her behalf.

It's okay, magic. I understand. Thanks for explaining your post.

No problem, chicago. Thanks for the clarification.

The manager should have totally asked to watch her dress herself to make sure the proper nipple covering was in place.

Please. Give me a break.

The only victim was JT who looked shocked af when he tore away the part of her top lol

I wouldn't call JT a victim. I mean, he got to see a part of JJ up-close that most wouldn't never get to see.

and, maybe manager is the wrong word. For it to happen the way it happened, the bra had to be tear away [or cheap fabric]. The one a charge of her [JJ's] outfit should have checked for that.

It reminds me of a WWE attire issue. They were having a divas tag, and one was to pull the other off the apron. Well, the one on the apron forgot she was going to get "pulled" down, and forgot to jump [I can see were this can happen to any style actor/actress] Well, the one doing the pulling, on accident, pulled the one on the apron's pants down.

Now, WWE didn't see that maybe the one on the apron had maybe been overworked and forgot one queue. No. WWE suspended her for, I don't remember how long. [she is back now tho]

Wait..wait...wait....

You're telling me not to believe the news,
but you're taking a storyline from WWE as fact?

Awww...no female celebrities having large, long, and fluffy ostrich feather boas draped over their shoulders? Shoot. 🙁

OK. I was going to let this drop, because, clearly, you all have missed my original point. Which was helping out Mitch.

I couldn't sit by and see you all jump on him like that.

but, I feel as I need to explain about the WWE thing. I saw the attire issue with my own eyes [and, before you ask. yes, I saw the JJ thing too], and after that she was gone for a long time. It came out on Total Divas about her suspension.

Now, I know Total Divas is partly fake [a lot of it is real-like them being sad when Dusty Roads died], but my gut tells me this is just what the Mcmans [I know that is the wrong spelling] would do.

What made me mad about the WWE thing, they did not even talk to the other girl [the puller] or at least they were no visual repercussions.

I've saw a lot of seemingly missed queues in WWE. They need to work out some kind of signal system, to remind to other person to do what ever it is they have to do.

Is she wear hair extensions in the pic? Her hair looks longer than it does on the show.

I am a big fan of "BBT", but I thought she was a lot more funny when she had long hair. Don't get me wrong, she still has a few good one-liner, but they are only in like 1 ep out of 4.

Her hair was long again in the January 5th episode of the show, so she either grew it out again or is also wearing extensions in the show.
By the way, I like her breasts better than either of the two women in the title of this thread.

I didn't see anyone jumping on Mitch.
He asked for people's thoughts on his post.
We gave them.

well, to my eye, it looked dismissive. Like some people didn't care if he posted or not. and, that's not cool.

I have felt like that myself, many-a-times [like what I said didn't matter]. and, it's not a good feeling.

Sorry if I mistook it.

Holy shit, call the waaaahmbulance.

More than a few of us could not understand the OP original point to begin with. So, there was cleavage at the Golden Globes. Scientists have determined that later this evening it will become night. From some of our perspectives, it seemed like Mitch was shocked or somehow uncomfortable at how these women were dressed. As a woman, myself ( of which there is only one other who responded here ) it gets pretty tiring hearing about what we should or shouldn't wear. That said, once we realized Mitch's intent, we apologized, while - in your attempt to promote more positivity - you derailed the thread for pages participating in an argument about Janet Jackson's right areola. Good job.

No. Actually, it was you all who kept this thread going. If you will look back at my posts [besides the first one], I was usually defending myself to Wolf [and, some to you].

and, About the JJ thing, that was the only example of for "people like to talk about famous people-good or bad" I could think of at the time. It wasn't about JJ herself, just a tool.

I'm sorry, but.....Bullshit.
Mitchell wanted to start a conversation by pointing out,

Mandy Moore, and Kristen Bell , are at the Golden Globes tonight.
They are both wearing .. very revealing gowns
The gowns..are extremely low cut, and reveal, about half of their bare breasts.
Has anyone else seen or heard about this?
Thoughts?

I asked, "Why does it matter?" and your response was,

Well, Wolf. if you don't mind, I'm going to answer your question with a question. Why was Janet Jackson's Super Bowl thing so talked about?

You couldn't answer why it mattered, so you brought up something unrelated that you thought would explain why it did.
I didn't attack you. Just the assertions you made that were not based in fact.
I don't have anything against you.
I have a problem with the arguments you make, because most of them are based on sheer conjecture.

The point really isn't about famous people. It's about women, and how, no matter what they do, or say, or wear, some motherfucker is judging them for it.
Whether or not they're spankin' it at the same time.
