about the JJ thing. In my first reply to this thread, I meant the JJ question as a tool, not, as it was, taken literally.

I am not stupid, I know why they talked about it so long. It's just when Wolf acted like he/she [sorry Wolf, haven't looked at your profile yet] took offence and went on the attack, it triggered me defense switch.

I had a flash-back to a few years back to when a was the victim of a cyber bully [not that I am calling Wolf one]. Since that time, I promised myself that I would always stand up for myself, when ever possible.

I am sorry if anyone took offence to it. Like I said, the question was not meant to be taken literally.

and, As Chicago pointed out, we went back-and-forth for pages. That in a way, was part of my point, people love to talk about famous people. I was waiting to see if either Wolf or Chicago caught on, and saw my original point but neither ever did [or didn't let on]

The point really isn't about famous people. It's about women, and how, no matter what they do, or say, or wear, some motherfucker is judging them for it.

No, you are not stupid.
No one went on any attack.
Are you trying to say now that all of your assertions about Janet Jackson were just trying to make a totally unrelated point about famous people, and that others just didn't "catch on"?

I started throwing out random stuff like they were facts to see how far I could get you all to go, and in the process prove my point. We went a little over 3 page "arguing" about JJ. So, you were trolling.
Spouting things you knew weren't true in order just to get a response out of people, and, as you say, to prove a point about those people.

There's a problem with trying to weasel out from under a thread where you're screwed up by throwing the "LOL I TROLLED U" card;
Now, no one has to try to be nice about it when you say something stupid. Because we have reason to assume it was intentional.
You might not have planned for that.

I wouldn't really call it trolling. A troll does it to be mean, while I a least tried to be nice about it, and not say anything hurtful, like a troll would.

You claimed to be making a point by spewing information you now claim you knew was false all along.
No one was responding because they "love talking about celebrities". They were responding because you were posting false information.

Stop it. You're pushing the envelope on pathos and crossing into manipulation.
You got into an argument over your head, realized you couldn't back up your assertions with facts, and tried to save face by claiming it was all an elaborate scheme to prove a point.
A "point" which had nothing to do with the OP's post, which was nothing more than "Look! Boobies! What do you guys think???".
That's all. Why can't you just leave it at that?
