Massage therapist admits she tickles me on purpose (need advice)

So the backstory is that I've been seeing her for over a year now to help relieve neck/back stress (I work at a computer all day). We have great chemistry as she is very chatty, witty, and sarcastic just like me. The conversation never stops and is a good mix of serious, funny, and flirtatious.

She discovered early on how ticklish I was and it started off as her just teasing me about it every time she'd hit a tickle spot (usually my sides while massaging my lower back). However, for the past 2-3 months or so, she's been sneaking in quick tickles of her own during the massage.

For example, she said she was going to massage my chest but before starting, she quickly tickled my armpits. I was shocked, confused, and a little turned on. I was like "Wait is that part of the massage??!!". She was like "Nah I just wanted to tickle you" laughing. Nothing else happened that session but in other sessions she's slowly dragged a finger up my feet during foot massages or tickled my inner thighs while doing my legs. There are more examples but the point is that it's innocent and quick every time. I usually call her on it (playfully of course) and she always admits to it. One time she was even like "Now where was that tickle spot on your thigh again?" and started searching for it.

Again, to be clear, 99% of the massage is a normal massage. There's just a little tickling thrown in here or there and sometimes (rarely) not at all.

So we're both single and I've been DYING to ask her out but I'm afraid of crossing some kind of patient/client line or ruining a good thing. I'm also aware that my tickle fetish could be seriously clouding my judgement and looks wise, I do think she is a bit out of my league (she's not a 10 by any means but she's a tall brunette with some nice curves).

What do you think? Do I have a shot here or are my odds more like Jim Carrey's in Dumb & Dumber?
 
I have a friend who is a massage therapist, and I'm pretty sure most of them don't bother flirting with their clients. The next time she tickles you, say something like 'Careful, one of these days I might have to tickle YOU!' See how she responds. If it's all giggly/flirty, than go for it.

Even in the worst case where she's just that outgoing/playful with everybody, she's probably had men ask her out over it a bunch of times and she'll be used to it. I don't think the risk of ruining a good thing is as big as you think it is.
 
If you ask and she declines, what's the worst that's going to happen?

Dude just ask her out. I swear people are just too damn cautious these days
 
The worst that can happen is that you might need to find a new message therapist.
 
Sounds like she's willing to push the boundaries of professional conduct to fool around with you.
I'd think that would be a hint.

(We don't get much follow up on some of these threads...)

All she can say is "No," but if she says "YES!," well, you already know she's up for some tickling, .....and she knows how to massage!

And screw the whole ratings thing - I've seen some okay guys who lucked out and got damn fine girls, and I've seen okay girls get damn hot guys.

Amazingly, almost all of those mismatched pairs have been long terms relationships, or led to long term marriages!

So if she DOES say YES, you will probably have several years at least, of tickling fun to enjoy with each other.....

THIS! Its pretty inappropriate to be doing that... I see that as a MAJOR hint.

You could even ask her in a way like: Would I be overstepping the boundaries if I asked you to have a drink/ dinner with me? See what she says...
 
You have got a good thing going and might as well try to get a date.
 
I tend to agree with most here that you should go for it. Since she seems pretty outgoing with the random tickles, what's the worst that could happen? She says no? Then just say "OK, carry on as before". And you could add "You never know if you don't ask..." That would show her that you were cool with the answer no matter what.
 
Ahhhh, alright, I have a session with her Thursday. I will suck it up and ask her out as casually as possible. Wish me luck!
 
Or you could say something along the lines like, "You have to be careful about the tickling. Not that I don't like it, I kind of like it too much." Then see how it plays out from there.

A little ways into the massage, I shifted the conversation to movies and brought up that Ouija movie. She had heard of it but hadn't seen it (perfect! or so I thought). So I kept it wicked casual by saying I planned on seeing it and asked if she'd like to join me. She said something like "Oh..... I don't usually do that sort of thing with clients" and then changed the subject immediately. The pause made me think she was just trying to find any excuse she could think of that would let me down easy.

In my head, I was like Dammit!! and it was a little awkward after that for about 5 minutes or so but she's cool and easy to talk to so it was all good after that and we got to talking about other things.

Oh well, hey at least I tried!
 
Hey man, at least you had the stones to ask. That in itself deserves commendation! And following up by sharing on the forum too. Sorry it didn't work out, but nevertheless, well done!
Hopefully she still tickles you?
 
Well you could go over one day and tell her you are no longer a client... then ask her out.

But if she seemed uncomfortable then yeah don't push it. Bummer. 🙁 At least you know now and can turn your attentions elsewhere.
 
Well, that's a bummer. Seemed like it was headed the other direction.
Kudos for having the guts to ask, though.

Hey Dude, sorry to hear that. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Congrats to you for going for it. I hope she still tickles you.
