I need some help from the boys please, it's about clothes.

I am having a group to my apartment mid week for a casual dinner party, including a few guys my friends are trying to set me up with. Yes, I now listen to my friends concerning men 😉

I typically dress casually (I always wear jeans) but I also want to look a bit sexy, but not slutty. I'm pretty short (5'3) but always wear flat shoes or no shoes. Normally, I'm in a sweatshirt, jeans and typically barefoot at home.

Obviously, I want to look a bit more put together for my dinner party... but still casual... kinda the "I don't care look" although i really do????

My place is carpeted so I probably will be barefoot (fresh pedicure tomorrow)
and I do want to wear jeans... but what about a blouse? I like black and have a ton of turtlenecks, but it may be too warm inside? I also have a new black blouse that shows my tummy a bit... and that's an option...

Guys, please advise.... sexy but not slutty... fun and NOT too serious??

umm well lets see black blouse sound right. jeans are always good in my eye. hmmm stay away from turtle necks I would say but idk how you look so one might work but if your not sure stay away from it. maybe something that shows a bit of yor tummy when you stretch so he only sees it when you want him to see it (and do tease him.) maybe sleeveless, or a V neck. umm with out knowing much about you thats about as much as I can give you. sorry ^ ^

I would say just dress casually.Black is most definately hot.As far as pants I think something long would be nice.At least for this time of year.Plus if you are going to be barefoot,long pants would be super hot.IMO.I don't know your lifestyle so it's hard to suggest attire.Just don't try to be fake.

Lea, go with what makes you comfortable. If you want to wear jeans then go with this and maybe a cute t-shirt or the blouse as long as it goes with jeans but no turtleneck. Wear flats so you can always kick them off later on. Have a great night!

A skirt is a must. Something tidy and small, but coming down to your knees. You must also be wearing stockings. I'd go with black skirt, with a little bit of pleating, but essentially plain in design. Tight around your rear and hugging your body quite closely (but not too tightly) to end just abov or below the knee.

If you're going for a black skirt, go for lighter stockings, with some sort of pattern on them. Not a coloured pattern. The pattern will be part of the weave of the fabric. Maybe white.

No shoes of course in the house.

You could pull off a turtleneck, but i'd go for a lighter coloured blouse - maybe cream white. to match the skirt and blouse.

Now hair. I'm assuming you've got blnde hair. Get it cut nice. Very tidy with some layering. Wear nice perfume. Have a bath and make your skin very soft. Eat well for several days leading up to the event - fruit, no fatty food or takeaways and a bit of proteing and carbs.

Make sure you have nice make-up. Red lipstick? Foundation on skin. Blusher. Eyes done. Lashed done. Make sure your nails are painted, but NOT your toes if you're wearing stockings.

Not too muh jewelry and you should look hot.

Of course, go with what you want, but please. Don't wear jeans.

i never get why people who just get off of bad relationships immediatly jump into new relationships without any real break for personal growth.

do they think that they are going to make a right choice concerning a good person that quick? isnt it more likly that in their emotional state their just picking someone to fill the void and will therefore screw up again?

why do so many people think they need to be with someone or they're not complete. unlike what everyone thinks, life's main goal isnt just to be with someone.

In other words, the same outfit will make one person feel attractive but another feel self-conscious. If you are uncomfortable wearing a short skirt or low-cut top, then such attire will be wrong for you even if another woman feels good wearing it.

So I advise you to reach into your closet for the outfit that makes you feel sexiest, whatever will complement the confidence you wish to project to your guests as you greet them at the door. Good luck and please let us know what you wear - and how the party goes.

I think it would be a bit unnatural for flip flops indoors. They're a great casual shoe for quick errands of a casual, flirty style outdoors but inside they're out of place.

Imagine in winter if you kept your winter coat on in a cold apartment. Sure, you might be comfortable but it just seems a little off. Anklets looks great no matter what you're wearing but if your jeans are going to be ending fairly low (say within 2 or so inches of the ground) then it might be a wasted effort because nobody is going to be looking at it. If you're looking for foot jewlery I recommend a toe ring or two.

As for the blouse you can NOT go wrong with black. EVER. (Except with navy blue pants, which is a mistake I consciously make because I'm a man and lazy and nobody expects me to know better!)

Are you going for painted or unpainted nails? It's a simple matter to match your outfit to your nail color and it'll look stunning! (Really makes a pretty girl stand off if her toes match her top!)

Well, here's my suggestion, and it's completely from a guy's point of view.

A black turtleneck, because it goes with any type of pants you wear. Also it can really drive a guy nuts if you both are attracted to one another. Because the only way he can kiss that sensitive neck, is to get you out of the turtleneck!
But I would recommend darker toned blue jeans. If you're going the natural look with nails, that's even better. If you are going to go with nail polish, I would toe-tally go with pink. It is the sexiest color to go with black and blue, to my knowledge. If you play coy a little bit, like wear a pair of flats that match your turtleneck, you can slip them off at your leisure after the ice is broken a bit.

Picture yourself on your couch, and you decide to slip off your flats so that your feet can breathe a bit. Set your dogs on the coffee table and fan your toes a bit. Even if the guy doesn't have a foot fetish, he will see that your toes and fingers match and will no doubt impress him. Maybe if you rub your feet together, he will offer to rub them as well. Or you could be even more coy and say "My feet hurt"
