Yes, to me the year 2000 went by very rapidly. That was subjective, of course.

Have you ever spent an hour in a dentist's chair that seemed like five hours?

Yes, if you want time to slow down sit in a dentist chair or stare at a clock.

What's your first thought when you wake up usually?

Usually it is "Aha, it's [xxx]day." The [xxx] represents Sun, Mon, Tues, ..., or Satur.

What's usually your last thought before you go to sleep?

I feel relieved most nights because I'm pretty tired so it feels good to know I can rest/sleep.

What's your daily routine you keep pretty strictly?

I weigh myself every morning immediately after urinating, before eating or drinking anything, and wearing only underwear.
I eat breakfast while on my laptop, being careful not to drop crumbs onto the keyboard.
My daily activities diverge after that.

What is the best way to wake up?

On your own without an alarm clock waking you out of a sound sleep.

Do you like laptops more than desktops?

Yes, I like laptops better.

What year did you first have a computer of your own in your home?

1996 I remember we got the internet and I had it in my room. AOL was my main thing back then.

When's the last time you used AOL?

I have never used AOL. My first email was hotmail. My first browser was Internet Explorer.

How many email accounts do you have, both personal and connected to your work?

I have 3 emails total that I use.

What's one item you don't own that you wish you did?

That's easy, a car. 🚗

What's one item that you own that you're sorry you bought?

I think I bought too many shirts so I stopped buying them because I can barely use all of them.

What's worse rain or snow?

Snow is worse because it lingers after it stops falling.

What is the strongest wind in which you have ever walked?

I think 60MPH was the strongest. Probably gusts to 70MPH.

What's the worst storm you ever recall being stuck in?

It was a blizzard in January 1996. I was supposed to meet a friend for lunch and I tried to walk there (only a few blocks). I never made it out of my own block. With 20 inches of snow on the ground, after getting stuck 10 feet from my front door, I stumbled back home. I was never stuck in a car in the snow.

What's your worst experience in the snow with a car?

In November of 2018 a surprise snowstorm hit (we got about 6 or 7 inches) and my drive home was unreal. A normal commute of 15 to 20 minutes took 5 hours. I've never seen anything like it in my life but basically nobody plowed anything and the traffic was at a complete standstill on the parkway.

What's the best gift you ever gave to someone?

Half of a one week cruise to Bermuda to my parents on their 50th wedding anniversary. (My brother paid for the other half.)

What is the best present you ever received?

My brother visiting from San Diego. Always made Christmas feel extra special when he was coming.

Oh yes I do.

Sandy Koufax. His 89th birthday will come in eleven days. He is one of six living men who once played for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Approximately how many ornaments are there on your Christmas tree?
