Featherfingers no I did not as of yet buy the Love CD what I posted was just somthing I simply found on UTUBE. I was telling my friend Sunday about Arthur Lee and he too has Vague recollection of Lee in the 60s and mentioned he jammed with Jimi Hendrix several times.

And as for what is considered unhip well I to like your choices in particular "Superstar" by the Carpenters. Thats a wonderful song written by of all people Leon Russell.

You won't be disappointed with the LOVE CD when you buy it. And yes, there's a track on there called "The Everlasting First" which features Jimi Hendrix on guitar.

Leon Russell was and is great! He was a session musician on a lot of '60s hits and he also wrote "This Masquerade" which became a big hit for George Benson, plus a whole lotta other stuff.

As for keeping the music coming, I intend to do that. I was listening to XM Radio's Deep Tracks station yesterday when they played the following song. I've never heard this song played on the radio before, only on my old turntable and CD player, so that kinda tripped me out. Light some incense, smoke one if you've got it and chill to this:

And since I'm in a reminiscing mood... I used to drive a 1966 Buick Riviera lowrider back in the late '70s:
