Hey all. Just got back from watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children FINALLY!!! I'll tell you, if this doesn't win Best Animated Film at the Oscars, there's something deeply, deeply wrong. For all those here who haven't seen it, shame on you!

Don't worry, you're actually among the better FFVII fans I've seen, so I'm fine with you liking it so much (I still like it, but liked it better before I witnessed the uglyness that it spawned). As long as you don't act like the following:

1)OMG FFVII is the aBsolUte best game ever!! It is t3h 1337 roxxors!!!!! No game can ever possibly be better than the best game ever and anyone who thinks so sux and is an 111idiot!!!

2)OMG LIEK SEPHIROTH DERRRR IS THE BEST VILLAIN EVER WITH THE BADASS SWORD AND IS BADDASS WITH BADASSNESS OMG 111111 1337 PWNAGE ALL OMG SEPHI GAAAAHHHH GIVES ME T3H ORGASMS!!!!

Well, I knew about the Spongebob Squarepants thing, but I don't remember if I knew about the Backstreet Boys or not.
Ok, first off, don't worry. I do have a decent knowledge of spelling and don't need to resort to "1337-speak." Second, yeah, it's a really good game. It's definitely one of the best I've ever played, right up there with "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time." I won't say one's better than the other though, or that a game isn't out there that will blow them away, but I will say those are the best I've played.
And as far as Sephiroth being the best villain, he's also definitely up there. I think he could beat Ganondorf, but Cloud would still come in and beat him again. 😎
Oh, and one more thing. I've yet to meet a video game character that gave me orgasms. Sorry Tifa and Yuffie.

That's good, I hate it when people use the internet as an excuse for extremely poor grammer.

And yeah, despite my gripes, FF7 ranks up with the best RPGs I've ever played, though my favorite is still Chrono Trigger. And LOZ:OOT ranks a bit higher for me. Now if only I could ever get the chance to play Xenogears :sigh:

As for Seph, he actually was a pretty good villain, but again, it's the fans that I mostly hate. I mean, they act like he is the greatest, most powerful being to ever exist, and would never even break a sweat, let alone be defeated by, anyone (and I do mean anyone) who isn't Cloud. I know plenty of characters who could beat him in a fight. As for if he could beat Ganondorf, it depends. If you mean OOT Ganondorf, then yeah, I have no doubt. But LTTP Gannon, no, since the only thing that can kill him are the Silver Arrows/Master Sword.

And I personally always liked Aeris better than Tifa, mainly because Aeris seemed to have many of the trates I like in a female. Tifa had little more than massive jugs, which is really all she needs for most people.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I haven't had the chance to play Xenogears either, so I couldn't compare that.
I did mean OoT Ganondorf, who I feel that Sephiroth could beat. I haven't had the good luck to play Link to the Past, so I couldn't really say who'd win between that version of Ganon and Sephiroth. Actually, I'd like to see OoT version pull out his sword and go at it sometime. He's shown with it in Super Smash Bros. Melee, and if memory serves me right, he was shown with it dueling with Link in a video when the Gamecube came out. I'd love to see a straight sword duel between Ganondorf and Sephiroth.
Then again, I'd also like to see Link and Cloud go at it.

Yeah, I haven't played VI yet, but I know Kefka is supposed to be pretty tough.
Ok, for speculation's sake, let's say OoT Ganondorf vs FFVII Sephiroth and OoT Link vs FFVII Cloud. How would it play out?

Well, first of all, you should definatly play FFVI and LOZ:LttP, and since you love FFVII/OoT, then I'm sure you'd love them as well. If you don't have a SNES, then you could always use the emulation route, since SNES games are so rare now days.

OK, OoT Ganondorf vs FFVII Sephiroth. If it's just regular Seph vs. Ganondorf, then I might say Seph, it's hard to tell how his Masamune would fare against Ganondorf since Ganondorf is only supposed to be vulnerable to the Master Sword. But other than that, I'd say Seph. If it was Safer Seph vs. Ganon (his transformed state), then it may be more difficult to say, since there are so many variables. I still think that Sph would win, though, again, it's difficult to say.

OoT Link vs FFVII Cloud. Ok, here we have Clouds Buster Blade vs. the Master Sword/Mirror Shield. For starters, Cloud's attack spells might be difficult to get through Links Mirror Shield, since it reflects energy, though area effect spells like Ultima might be affective. Summons might also be reflected, since they are mostly energy based in some way or another.

Then we have Link and his huge arsenal of weapons. The Master Sword might not be able to match the Buster Blade for power, but that's what his shield is for. The Biggoron Sword probably could, however. And Link also has fairys/medicine for health, as does Cloud his cure spells. Overall this one would be very difficult to judge since they both have such a huge arsenal, and there's no telling how effective they would be against the other.

Anyway, I gotta go, maybe we can continue this some other time.

What is this sleep you refer to Hungarian? I'm hardcore into exams now so sleep is a luxury I can't afford right now. On the brightside, I have one exam left but it's on a Saturday afternoon. (bleah 😛) Still I must have gotten about a total of 24 hours of sleep this entire month to this point. (Done four all nighters already)

Sleep is for wimps! 😀
 
Then wimp I am, but I wont fall asleep drooling on the exam and wake up 5 minutes b4 time's up like last time! 😛

Well, I actually have an on/off relationship with sleep since I work nights. What I mean is that I sleep for a few hours, stay up for a few, go back to sleep for a few, etc. So yeah!
 
Hows everyone doing today ^_^ . I just finished watching the whole of Elfen Lied. It's the absolute best Anime series I've ever seen! I'm all teary at the minute, it's so sad >.< .
