And even if Anna says it, I (Heather) don't cry when Australia loses a match in sport! Except for the Hockeyroos who I (Heather) love! We will see you later.

i am very sorry if i have offended any of you, i know that this was contraversial, again sorry... i do understand that i was not true to how j. rowlings depictions in the book were stretched and made peverse, if i intend to write another fic i will seriously consider how to best change the way that in which they are tickled. I am again very sorry...though that was my first peice, and i am now encouraged to change my style...and i have read the harry potter books (save the half blood prince) and i too know that was sinister as what i did! apologies!...oh and the reason i thought the part about the breasts was acceptible is that there are several harry potter fics and some have tickling of that region

Sorry you feel the need to apologize. If I were an author, I would be complimented that my characters inspired others to write, even if they focused in on a different facet than the original. If people don't want to read Harry Potter porn, then they should avoid Harry Potter titles on porn sites, not flame the author. Keep up the good efforts!

Is this a porn site? I think you will find many here who would say it is not. It is a site about tickling, and its many different aspects, not a porn site.

well look at it this way, the more responses the more attention to your writing. so some good can come from it all. takes a good human to apologize for his or her mistakes.

isabeau

which some view as a mistake and others dont

It's funny you mention Digimon because I think that show is as close to child pornography as you can get without it being illegal. And it's even funnier that you mention tickling in the very same series that I'm talking about. These kids transform into Digimon and the first step in that process is having their clothes torn off their bodies.

And also you might find it startling, but if you watch some of these shows you might find they have a lot of references to sex.

I didn't mean that this was a porn site. I should have said "For example, if people don't want to read Harry Potter porn..." But my statement had more zing than saying "If people don't want to read Harry Potter in tickling situations which at times may be sexual, they should avoid HP titles on "tickling situations which may at times be sexual" sites.

Next time, please read what I meant, not what I wrote. heh-heh

the same can be said of Sailor Moon. But what many americans fail to understand is that the Japanese simply have different standards for what is appropriate for their children than other countries do. A non-japanese can look at Ranma 1/2 or the early days of Dragon Ball and assume that the target audience is adults. The truth is that such titles were originally published in the popular manga magazine Shonen Jump, "shonen" meaning "boy", as in young boys being the target audience.

here's a list of thing's i've observed that's acceptable for manga/anime aimed at young Japanese kids but innapropriate for children elsewhere:

1. breasts can be shown, but vaginas CANNOT
2. penises can NEVER be shown UNLESS they belong to a small child or an impish character
3. perverts=comedy
4. guns of all kinds can be shown
5. poop can be shown. gotta love toilet humor.

that's all i can think of right now.
and bear in mind that even when Digimon got edited for the states, that tickle torture scene remained intact and even EXTENDED, despite that you considered it "child pornography". I think it would only be considered "child pornography" if the kids were STRIPPED, or if the girl's nipples were tickled. as that was not the case, and that they were fully clothed and the only spots stickled were noses, tummies, and underarms, it was perfectly clean and child-friendly.

You legally must be 18 to view this site, due to the possibility of adult content being featured here. Although there is so much more than pornography here, it basically IS a porn site, and certain members not believing so doesn't change the official definition.

Also, as to Rowling's view of this story, this would be one of the least disturbing stories to her, I'm sure. In the world of HP fanfics, nearly every character has had sex with every other. Many of those fanfics make no attempts to reconcile the age of the characters with the actions they take in the story. Yes, it is disgusting, but it's out there. This, by comparison, is extremely tame.

you dont havent to have that clip lol hahahha

what, from Digimon? well, you can find the japanese clips several places on the net. no one seems to have made clips of the english version, so if u want to see that, just keep watching Digimon on abcFamily or Toon Disney. the name of the ep was "Sockit Takuya"

lol awseome thanks emsee and thankyou too himyname cant spell the rest but thanks man!

The thing I found most offensive on this entire page was the first response to the story. Anyone who has entered this room should be ashamed of themselves for bashing someone else's fantasies. If you don't like this story, find another one to read. I also agree that you're kidding yourself if you are in the tickling forum and you just like some lighthearted, completely non-sexual tickling. I don't know anyone who jumps on the net looking up websites with tickling stories, pictures, and video clips because it's ho-ho frolicky fun for the whole family.

Regarding the feelings that J. K. Rowling would have if she read this utlization of her work, I would have to say two things: 1.) The chances that this story will end up on her desk is about the same as ME ending up on her desk, and 2.) Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This story (not hers) has no copyright, is not intended for sale, and to discuss "copyrighted" (NOT 'copywrite', get that correct from now on) material on here is ridiculous.

As far as taking the characters and using them for a story, I understand that some people like ONLY original material, but then again who doesn't have a little fantasy once in a while about things we see and hear in the media, in books and magazines, movies, etc.? To quote the immortal words of Hannibal Lecter, "We covet what we know, what we see every day." That is true, we begin to covet that which we are familiar with.

As far as an age-group to which the Potter series is directed, I believe it may have BEGUN being children's fiction, but it certainly moved well off that track a while ago. I don't remember reading anything that was 800+ pages long when I was in Junior High, that's for sure. These books are made as much for adults as anyone else. As for the sexual nature of the story, I found it so "light" compared to 99% of what's written here, plus the fact that the characters were described to be of legal age, that pointing this out was ludicrous and a real asinine way to blow the post-reading reviews.

Anyway, that's my review of the first review of this story. I believe that all criticism, good and bad, is essentially helpful, unless it is born of self-righteous hypocrisy.

you know i have to agree with you. i also think that if you dont like the story, just dont read it. i'm seriously considering writing a story on this forum, and i would be a tad hurt if the first reply was nothing but bashing. but of course i would welcome criticism and suggestions on how to write it better.

Excellent! I think you should jump right in and do it.

I've been a writer for years, went to college as an English major with a Creative Writing emphasis, and have been involved in many other forums for more traditional writing. I found that in this forum, in general, you'll find the most welcoming, enthusiastic responses from people. Normally, I don't see many negative responses to the stories, and that's a wonderful way to get over any shyness or confidence blocks. I don't search this site for the Hemingway of the tickling world, just some good stories with fun scenes, interesting backgrounds, and of course, lots of tickling! Reading someone else's tickling fantasies is sometimes like watching a little tickling movie that you didn't expect to see, late at night on TV. As long as someone else came up with it, it's titillating!

Please do post a story, I look forward to reading it. :triangle:

thank you i think i will. hope to have it done by friday. it will be in two parts, the first the set up so to speak and not much tickling. however even when i do get to the tickling part, i am afraid my descriptions will fail to be anything like in the stories i love to read. since i havent experienced it yet myself, i will have to rely on my somewhat limited imagination. thanks for the heads up, i already have a plot in mind.

i never meant that tickling HAS to be "hi-ho frolicky". What i meant is that it shouldn't be LIMITED to a sexual activity on these forums, as if that's the only thing tickling is good for. And FYI, me and my friends look for sites with innocent tickling ALL the time.

thats fine, there's no crime in innocent or not so innocent tickling at all...hell that's why were on this forum!

i'm sure. i just personally find it insulting to see beloved characters such as from Harry Potter reduced to things of a sexual nature, tickle-fiction or otherwise. *shudders at how many HP fan fictions i've seen of Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy having relations with each other*
