This is not an update, but a little news!
Right now, i'm asking the italian community, if they would like to wait for the english translation!
In this way, everyone will be able to play KP together!

Hmm, well that sounds good, but it doesn't seem too fair to make them wait an extra month or so for the english version when the original is ready to go. In this case, I think it would be best to translate the game as it's being developed. Unless that's just not possible, in which case I say just go ahead and post the original once it's ready and then we can just wait for the translations.

And the Great Italian Riots of 2011 begin.... 🙂

Don't hold it back for that. Just upload it for the italians. I'll translate it for the english here and i'm sure the board members can wait for that. And if they can't, they can always download the italian version and translate themselves while they wait for the actual english version.

Besides, it's not fair for the italian board to wait longer just because of a translation. Just release it when it's done and i'll then do my translation and you should have some free time to assist.

If you're concerned with time, you could give Xtreme bits of the updated game so he can translate them while you work on the next parts. This way you're getting it done while translating it at the same time (well, close to it anyway).

Otherwise, I'd rather us wait and let others enjoy it as early as possible. It's not like when a game is made in and ported from Japan that Europe or the US get to delay the game for the Japanese. As the saying goes "good things come to those who wait".

Actually...that's not a bad idea.

Screamer, if you were to send me your current progress each time, I can then translate the italian into english part by part so that the translated game grows at the same time you're developing. That way when you finally finish the game, I will have been close to finishing the english translation and the whole translated game would be uploaded around when you release the full game. Everyone wins.

The game will be three times larger than Lala's Ordeal right? I think it would be wise for me to do this so that people don't have to wait 3 times the amount they had to when I was translating your last game. And don't worry. I have a lot of free time myself. 🙂

Is it going to be possible at all for Xtreme to translate any of it before the game is finished?

Can't really answer to this...there're a lot of modifications to dialogue/events i would like to introduce.
I prefer to wait the final version....hope you all understand!

Well, you do what needs to be done. It sucks we'll be waiting once it's released for an English version, but it's not like we didn't for LO.
Granted, Xtreme is going to feel quite a few eyes leering at him while we wait, but he is a tough guy - he can take it :ggrin: He could also get help this time, so that could speed it up.

Just keep feeding us with updates like usual, and we'll get by.

I am kind of glad for the delay. Means, at least for me, a closer release towards Christmas. or after....or a little before.

- Ah, a good ol' fashion dungeon run. The question now is, what did Alice do to get into the dungeon? Or perhaps the better question is - what did they do to her while she was in it 😀

- Oh yes! Love giant women! Something about a woman that is taller than you is just sexy (not like shorter women aren't either). Maybe it's because there's more woman to love and skin to explore? Maybe it's the David vs Goliath feeling of dominating a strong woman when you send her into ticklish hysterics (when she could probably snap your arm off easily otherwise). Hooray for giantess fights!

- Lol I don't know why I am looking forward to ships so much in your games. Only big ship I can think of given our current info is an alien ship or a naval ship from one of the main cities.

-Her name is Gigantia
-Ever played Shadow of the Colossus?
-It will be a strategic "battle", so watch out for your steps!
-She's neither evil nor good
-Alice main objective is to not fall down
-Gigantia is "blind", but that doesn't mean she can't sense Alice!
She's huge but really ticklish...
-Even walking on her it,s dangerous!
-Don't expect a laugh when you tickle her!
-Of course, you'll never found Gigantia in the DPZ or in the codex

Gigantia? Isn't that the name of the giant woman in Monsters vs. Aliens?

Haven't played Shadow of the Colossus myself, but I watched someone else play it while I was deployed to Quatar. It's a pretty cool game. If you're referencing that game, i'm guessing that means Alice has to "climb" to get to the giantess's weak spot. (I've always wanted to tickle a giantess's bellybutton) 🙂

Wait a minute. She's really ticklish but don't expect her to laugh?? :huh

I guess it makes sense that Gigantia won't be in the BPZ or codex. It sounds like she's supposed to be a special boss. Besides that, I don't think she could fit in the BPZ! :lol

To correct Viper - it was GiNORMICa that was in Monsters vs Aliens. Sounds close though.

Wait, are you saying we're going to climb on this girl? Like she is a stage? That would be awesome! Tickle her 'weak point' for massive damage :lol

Not quite sure what to make of her being "blind". Hmm... could it mean Alice is so small compared to her that she is like a flea? Or is she an actual blind giant?

Oooo huge AND super ticklish:wub I wonder what we'll have to be careful of though when we're on her. Something like the PS2 game Mr. Mosquito?

I'm guessing she won't laugh just like how she is "blind" to us. We're so small, we could wiggle our fingers all day on her, but she won't feel it.

Woah - not even in the codex? Interesting - I wonder why. Maybe she is so big you can't record data on her (or maybe in more game-related terms, if she is like a stage, the game can't include her in a codex as she isn't a normal enemy/boss). Though I can see her not fitting in the BPZ lol. Poor thing can't be included in our tickle games. Now I can't help but see Gigantia trying to get in by picking up the roof, only to be yelled at and told to go elsewhere and running away dejected.
 
Shadow of the Colossus was a work of art.

Should we expect elaborate tattoos to mark her "weak points?" lol
 
-The alien abduction sounds fun. What do these aliens look like? What do they want with Alice? What do aliens know of tickling?
-Giantess also sounds really cool. I'm not sure how it'll work, but I'm looking forward to finding out.
Keep us posted with these cool updates, Screamer, they're great. A screenshot or two would also be cool to see every so often...
