Xtreme, I know this SNAFU has put a really big thorn in your side. Are you still gonna finish the translation then upload with Mediafire, wait for another MU to spawn, or even bother finishing the translation?

Personally, I liked MU far more than any of the others. So, I wouldn't blame you for either waiting for another to appear or just quitting on the tranlstion altogether, but I'd rather you didn't do either.

Hisssssssss why would you even give that option? lol Yea, MegaUpload is gone, but that doesn't mean that we now have no way to get it out to the masses. I doubt it was MegaUpload that spurred Xtreme to translate the game in the first place. 😛
That would be ridiculous to quit translating a game just because a file share site was shut down; I'm positive he is just pissed that it was taken down (like a lot of the world is at the moment).
 
I haven't quit completely. I'm nearing a milestone soon so i'll upload then.

Anyway, that upload sounds really good. Since I already lost the will to resist until the translation is complete, i'll be getting it. Least I lasted a lot longer than someone else here, who shall remain unsaid. :glare*looking at Anime*
 
just curious why was megaupload taken down it was endorsed by celebs what are the US government saying they know better than celebs now?

because he was stupid and ignored peoples emails about copy-written material. If you have a site like that and someone screams copy-write you take the link down and erase the account he didn't and apparently pissed off the wrong person.

It's a typical reaction really. Some big shakedown occurs and right away, anything similar goes into a panic and over-reacts. Within a month or two, the remaining file share sites will get back to business as usual. And don't be surprised to see some newcomers enter the fray that may quickly rise to the top by taking advantage of the others' alarmist attitude.
 
uTorrent will always be available in any case. Virtually impossible to shut that down rather than a single website.

We might have to rely on torrents (and since these aren't paid things, no one can be yelled @ MWAHAHAhA).

I pray that this whole incident doesn't cause a domino effect and makes most sites shut down their sharing. The rest of the world is already peeved at us over this (Spain is raging hard in particular), we don't need any more glares coming our way. Could've been handled better.
 
lol man ive been really looking for a decent translation tool to translate an entire document, infact i was able to translate all of KP to english, but the problem is it ruined the coding of every single line of --------------- and ################## as well as the brackets at the end by adding an extra space in each of them. -_-

Are you editing from within RPG Maker XP or did you just crack open the .rvdata files and start replacing strings?

i used a program called dreamaker which takes out the dialogue and puts it into a notepad file by converting the rm maps into another file type and then back again after i finish translating, which isnt going to happen lol cus i have to go through almost 1,300 pages of fixing the broken coding that google translate screwed up. so now im stuck with a fully translated kp and it cant be used >.< talk about frustrating...
 
I remember Screamer saying, in the very start of the project, that this game would have a Boss Punishment Zone like Cackling Cave had, in the end of the game.

Did it made into the final game?

Aww, so it's not just a bonus at the end? Please tell me we don't have to fight the impossible boss in order to get it. Also, is it missable after a certain part of the game and you'll never be able to access it?
 
When you say to put the font in the Window/font Directory...what do you mean by that?

I tried to put the font file in the windowskin folder yet the dialogue is still blank. I'm baffled.
