I'll be honest with you. In a way yes. It's temporary. I've been catching up on some things in real life and the game is on hold.

EDIT: On the meantime, how can I access the game archives, specially the ones about dialog? If i could just send them to Google Trnaslator, it would be really easier than go tiping and translating each line on the game D:

Unless I'm misunderstanding, Xtreme09 just said that he hasn't added anything since the fixes Screamer uploaded. That means this is current: http://www.mediafire.com/?o4oqh8m1d82kvm3.

All of the resources you want to translate should be in the Data folder, in there.

To get started, you need to download RPG Maker XP, run it, and open "Game.rxproj" from the folder you extracted KP into.

Note: If that file isn't there, just make a new text file containing nothing but "RPGXP 1.04" (sans quotes) and save it as as "Game.rxproj" in that folder. Then, go to RPGMXP and open the file, as above.

ill do it ima get started right now, i was going to do LoL as well and ive made a small bit of progress... but seriously translating japanese is shitty lol. though im gonna be copy pasting google translate so itll be rough, anyone who wants to go through and polish it afterwards feel free to.

hmm im having trouble getting into the game i have xp and all i made the text file and everything but it tells me unexpected file format when i try to open it. so far the only way i can translate it by extracting the text with another program, any idea how i can get into rpg xp and translate it? not sure what im doing wrong.

lol fixed it a small typo i kept overlooking... ok back to it now.

for me it worked when i changed it to 4.02 or something i forget but mine was a different version

Doing a tiny bit of this translation in my spare time. This isn't full adoption of the project, but I'm listing what I've gotten done so that others translating can skip or request the following areas.

Completed areas:

• Imperial Palace (just the entrance) map048
• Inside Palace map061
• Harem map062
• Infirmary map063
• Throne Room map064

Areas in progress

• Port map070 (mostly done); need some feedback from Screamer for last couple lines.

Edit: Good GRIEF. There was a lot of writing in the Infirmary and Harem.
P.S. The :trollface:/😛okerface: references were cute, Screamer.

Okay. The Palace area (and the first event in the next area) are translated.

EDIT: Did the Port, map070, as well.

Get the latest files from the Translation Coordination Thread.

Unzip the files from the "Download" link into the KP folder and let it overwrite stuff.

It's great that the translation is continuing, but if it's direct itailian to english, i'll wait for someone to polish up the translation.

I've been taking some liberties and localizing, instead of just stuffing things into Google Translate and pasting them back into the game files.

The main things I struggle with while translating with is not trying to "improve" things in such a way that any of Screamer's artistic vision is compromised. The hardest part is, frankly, deciding when to not erase the excess........punctuation!!!

Doubt it. That took a hell of a long time. I won't be able to translate the rest of the game. I can do a piece, every now and then, but don't think I can do the whole thing.
