So how many of you know Anita Sarkeesian

Ok, so reading what you linked, it sounds like a bunch of people who work for Anita Sarkeesian have reviewed your game. Are you saying she personally is involved?

Well while "Feminist Frequency" is a team of several people, nearly nothing affiliated with them -to my knowledge- has ever been done without her involvement. Do you mean to infer I somehow found a way to get FemFreq employees to allow a branding of the organization she founded and has worked elusively for for years to sign off on a project without her involvement?

No, I just want you to stop keeping us all in suspense and also to get you to confirm whether she personally observed, participated in playing, and or otherwise enjoyed your game. Obviously. Lol

Well if you haven't gotten anything back by now, there's two answers; they lost it, Anita put it in her private collection, or they destroyed it, thinking it's dangerous. I'd demand they pick one of those answers lol.

I had to look her up, no, I didn't know her, but she seems to have a noble cause. But why your milking this out, I have no idea.
I had a brother who over indulged in coke and alcohol during the 80's and grew a narsasistic streak that got way annoying over the years, so I've been coached by a professional to just ignore these tease situations that may or may not roll up to a conclusion.

What's the endgame, here?
Was it to make a donation just to get her to look at this, or to make some point about her opinions (which hasn't yet been made)?
And why would you submit something to someone you actively dislike?

Ummm. That was 3 answers dude lol

Considering she's roughly four years late on delivering the videos promised in her original Kickstarter, my guess is we'll see a response to Eagle in 2020.

It's tough when you have to generate material to prove your cause. Whatever happened to "lead by example"?

Ok so this is taking a bit longer than I expected so I'll say this much, I already sent the game and got the response. I have 3 pages worth of critique for it but the files say I can't post them anywhere without permission, so I'm asked permission to post them because I think it's more rewarding to show what she said than just tell it.

But yeah, it's been played and I now have a response.

So can you put the data in another file format, maybe in excerpts? What you working with, pdf? Docx?

Well the way it's worded sounds like they, until I'm given permission, don't want me saying explicitly what's in it at all. In case of a good review, to avoid looking like they're endorsing it, and in case of bad, I guess to avoid drawing negative attention ("FemFreq bashed my indie game guys, look!"). I've asked and hope they let me post some of it directly, and if not I can just describe what they said, though I find that significantly less fun.

That's pretty impressive... especially considering one of the biggest complaints against her is that she doesn't actually play the games she critiques. Good job!

This is quite detailed, so some time was put into the playthrough for sure.

She seems to much like a airhead seen her interview on stephen colbert show on comedy central years ago

Ok...well, if we had to sort of cook down the information....would we say the general commentary is negative, positive, or ambiguous?

Well I think it's good, but I'm a hellacious shit-stirrer too so that could mean anything...

Yea I guess, "reframing the situation" sort of works for a good amount of topics, within reason. But at least it's somewhat positive from some angle.

Ok this is taking way longer than I thought it would.

tl;dr it was highly positive, they liked the way the game approached the fetishy aspects, how the characters approached "vanilla" NPCs with it to involve them without hitting them over the head with it in a creepy way, and thought the tickling itself was adorable and loved how it mixed cute flirting and very blatant sexuality.

They said literally the exact opposite of what you would think Feminist Frequency would say about a fetish game. I'm still waiting on permission because I think you'll enjoy seeing verbatim what was said, but if not i'll give a more detailed rundown. But it was very good.

So, you submitted a game to Feminist Frequency, and got a positive review, despite your expectations?
Were your preconceived notions wrong, or was this circumstance an outlier?
