That's a canny observation, HDS! As originally conceived, Spectacles of Doom was intended to be the first story in a linked, 3-part mega-story (similar in structure to LOTR... I'd actually completed the first chapter of part 2, Day of the Devastator... considering how far "Spectacles" had come along, it's no loss that this saga never proceeded any further). The third installment would indeed have seen the resurrection of Mortus Rex. However, Tin-Tin-Qual had made provisions for such an eventuality... if you check the first part of Chapter 1, scene 4 of this story (post 22, page 2), you'll see that hints were already in place...HisDivineShadow said:
