Case and Point

What if a major tickle video producer or any tickle video producer placed a disclaimer on a video stating the following:

"The Models in this video are NOT being tickled nor are they actually ticklish...they are portraying such for your visual and Fantasy amusement".


Would you purchase that video regardless of how attractive said Models are?

NO video company or producer will openly tell you that the MODELS in their product are "ACTING" the part and are NOT actually ticklish.

They hope that "Looks are deceiving" and care not what the buyer cares after buying the video so long as they purchase their product. THE Main reason why there is no "satisfaction guaranteed" offered by any of them.
But then again, that kind of guarantee would be kinda stupid to offer due to the fact that alot of folks would or could copy the video and just scam the producers so they can get something for nothing.

Look, I've tried to humbly give my advice before, and I think most of the video guys just want to do their thing, which is cool. But if your losing money, or barely making it.... The reason they want pretty models, is if you scan the net at random, the vast majority of models are athletic, beautiful, relatively thin, not anorexic, but not morbidly obese, nice hair, etc.

But, I say, why not make your model beautiful, instead of/combined with getting a beautiful model. You can go all into "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" all you want, BUT, there are some things that will turn people on that go beyond looks. Subtle actions, dress, attitude, etc. I mean, if two girls walk into a room, one has jeans and a t-shirt on, another has a mini skirt and nude sheer pantyhose, and sandals, or heels and is playing with her shoes, my attention is going to the girl with the hose. The other girl would have to be WAY, DAMNED more attractive, like if the girl in the t-shirt was Cindy Crawford, and the girl in the hose was Rosanne Barr, okay. Then I'll talk to the t-shirt girl. But, come one, usually girls beauty is judges by the others in the room, and seperatly by each guy, what he is attracted to. You sell a video with two girls, evenly ticklish, but one has pantyhose, the other doesn't, I'm buying the pantyhose one.

So, there are other ways to make a girl look attractive, is what I'm saying, AND, more importantly, there are ways for you guys to expand your market in subtle yet PROFOUND ways, maybe drag in new ticklers, and make more money! A video tape can two hours of editted footage, people! You can break that up into all kinds of stuff, and still have plenty of space for tickling. You have a girl, she has heels and pantyhose on, she comes home, walks around with her shoes on, she takes her shoes off, rubs her feet, walks around in her pantyhosed feet, kicks them up and watches tv, calls the at-home tickler I mentioned on my website, waits for her to come, she can do whatever else, then she arrives and the tickling begins. Or, she is wearing sneakers and socks, she takes her sneakers off, then her socks, walks around in all three, sneakers, socks, barefeet, tickler comes, gets to work. Maybe she can put them all back on right when the tickler pulls up, because she likes it when SHE takes them off! And in these little ways you can have the girl "Model by being real," I call it. When the pretty girl at work drives you crazy by just being herself, not oficially "Modeling" That's what I'm talking about. You can get to know her that way, also.

You make it good, (quality, above all else, in all things, is what defines what sells in a capitalistic system...) you advertise, you sell a lot, then you begin making more than one release at a time, so that you can have girls of all kinds. That way, you still make money, but if you lose a little on the videos that have the girls many people may not want to purchase, no sweat, you made it from the others. And again, those videos with the BBW girls will attract newer customers if you branch out, ones that aren't part of your regular customer base when you tap into the danglers customer base, for example, or the foot massagers base, or whatever. Just some more thoughts....

MTPJeff made a very generous offer. All you have to do is take out your camcorder, film it, and then send it to Jeff.
To say that Jeff or TC could risk alienating people who don't buy vids anyway is a moot point. Tickling Vids is not a million dollar enterprise. They have to stick with what works. more importantly, they have to please their core clientel first. To say "I'd buy a video if..." is very hypothetical. I've bought vids from many companies over the years, and TC and MTP are the only ones that I feel safe buying without first previewing. They do a great job and they don't need people who never buy vids critiscizing them. TC posted an open offer for suggestions, and Jeff made his offer. They have passed the football. Which one of you will now run with it?

On a more serious note, I was one of the first to post here that I would NOT buy a video with an unattractive model. The ensuing posts led to NJ Jen calling me the "Poster boy for Bulemia". Bulemia is a very serious disease, along with anorexia which killed Karen Carpenter. I did not appreciate those unprovoked comments and I think it shows a total lack of common sense on NJ Jen's part. The next time she decides to write such a flagrantly ignorant post I would appreciate it if she kept my name out of it.
Bulemia is not a joke and I don't think that those who have watched friends or family die from the disease would appreciate her ignorant remarks. On the original TC post Jen advised people to think before they write. I suggest she does the same.

2)I was not intending to post on this after getting the answer to my question, but when it was said that some women CHOSE not to stay in shape, it changed everything. It was implied that non model type women do not choose to take care of themselves, otherwise they would all be model types. That is totally untrue. That implication has caused the majority of American women's eating disorders.
I feel that I am totally qualified to make this statement. I suffered with and almost died from complications of Bulimia Nervosa.

It is because of the permanent damage to my gastrointestinal system and metabolism that I stay overweight today. My thyroid is also underactive now, as a result. I do not eat alot and often have to be firmly pushed to eat at all.

I am now an advocate for women accepting themselves, no matter what their physical appearance. When I see uneducated and ignorant statements as was posted in this thread, it makes me enraged.

I also still believe that if female lees were portrayed as "real" people in these videos, it could bring more women out of hiding.

By starting this thread NJ Jen opened the "Forum" to opinions. This is a "Forum", and those who encourage perspectives that they won't agree with by starting a thread should be ready to hear things that they don't agree with.
If somebody wants to know the true meaning of my earlier posts they should go there and read them for them selves, then draw their own conclusion.
I have nothing personal against NJ Jen, but I could point to many posts she has written in the past where a total lack of common sense was involved. I have no desire to re-hash these old posts, so unless you're looking to stir the pot please don't ask about them.
Jen sometimes talks like she's educating others. You guys are bright enough to draw your own conclusions.
As far as illnesses and handi-caps, I walk through Manhattan every day and see perfectly healthy people begging for money. Then I go to work with a guy in a wheelchair who earns a healthy 6 figure income. He did not cop out. When you direct a derogatory remark at somebody, and then after that person returns your post, you should stick around and finish what you started. Like I said in an earlier post, Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
I would consider "Congratulations Wallstreet, you're now the poster boy for bulemia" as dishing it out. You're last post showed how well you are at taking it.

Regarding Eating Disorders...

I agree with WallStreet, this is no laughing matter. To imply that attractive models who appear in tickling videos suffer from eating disorders is to paint broadly with the same brush as Jen's previous statement on the other thread that she's never seen a tickling video with a beautiful model who is ticklish (subsequently admitting that she had never even SEEN a TC video, apparently despite the availability of free preview clips on this site).

Well, I've got about 15-20 TC videos, and scores of others from other producers. It seems to me that these girls are just making a living. They don't seem to be starving themselves and, in many cases, either state outright that they're enjoying themselves or seem to show by their behavior that they're having fun.

I agree with an earlier poster that it appears that a number of women on this thread are venting because more men are attracted to a different physical type. Well, more models want to sleep with Donald Trump than with me because the guy is a lot richer than I am, but I don't sit around whining about it! 😎

This thread has gotten quite heated maybe I can cool things off. There is a difference here between real life and adult films. In adult films everything is idealized, the women, the situations, the scenery to create a very sexy arousing atmosphere. Something that would be difficult or impossible to have in real life. If a girl comes to my door and delivers pizza in an adult movie and I ask "Want to have sex?" were having sex before the pizza is cold. In real life if ask her straight out "Want to have sex?" I would probably get slapped. Again in a tickle video "Oh my secretary didn't finish typing those papers. I must tickle her and teach her a lesson.". Now try to do that in real life and you would be fired by upper mangement and probably sued as well. The point is what I want in an adult film is not necessarily what I would seek in real life. In real life if I loved a woman I would go out with her whether or not she was ticklish, or had breasts of a certain size or whether she was skinny or overweight. I would want to be with her because I loved her. Case in point I had a girlfriend once and I was not certain how I felt about her and then she got her nose pierced. As I said before I don't really care for body piercings that much, it is kind of a turn off. However I noticed something amazing the nose ring thing didn't bother me at all, that's when I knew I really loved her. Soon after that she dumped me; again this is real life not the movies. So yes my choices for adult films are perhaps shallow by some peoples standards, but they are not the choices I make in real life. They are not the way I treat people in real life.

Also fantasy here somehow, by some weird twist, has gotten a bad rap as well. As if someones fantasies are only valid if you can only attain them in real life. I fantasize a lot like that Walter Mitty guy that Danny Kaye played I think. I imagine I'm a superhero and all sorts of other stuff as well. I fantasize about tickling Nicole Kidman or Gwen Stefani. The chances of these things coming true are quite slim certainly but who is to say what fantasy can't become a reality certainly not I. I am not getting into this anymore, since it has obviously become a waste of time. Anything I say to further the point I was trying to make is going to continue to be misinterpreted and ignored, so why bother?

My closing statement (to closed minds), is simply that we were asked what we would want to see in a tickling video, and secondly, posed by Jen, would you really buy a video that had a "not so model" type featured, and do looks really matter when you are making your video selections.

My answers were, and still are, that I would prefer to see more average women featured in the videos. Whether that be a BBW, or an older lady, makes no difference to me. I just want to see a girl next door type...one I can relate to. Secondly, yes I would but a video that featured a gal like the type I just described, providing she was sincerely and incredibly ticklish. And third, to ME, looks do not matter, in any way, shape or form.

And to address another question posed, about the appearance of the Ler, that also does not matter to me. George Wendt? If he's a great Ler and has good playful communication with the lee, HELL YEAH! I often see the question "why aren't more females into tickling" addressed. The fact of the matter is LOTS of females are into tickling, but many continue to lurk or hide in the closet because they see how many men in the community place looks above ticklishness or personality. So many want ONLY the "model types" and refuse to accept anything less. That sends them a message that they are not good enough or desirable enough for the men in the community. I was trying to be a voice for those women, and I will continue to be, because they need to be appreciated an accepted. There's a similar thread about the emphasis on young 'lees. Let's look at what sells in a somewhat broader market than ours.

The "straight" section of a local porn video emporium has numerous sex vids that feature attractive young women. The better they look, the more the vid costs. The vids have resale and trade-in value.

The same place has fat girl vids, and "gray fox" vids featuring my female contemporaries. Not many of either, and they're located off in a corner with the fetish material. Hard to resell, and usually useful for trade-in only at the place where you got them.

Video producers make what sells. If you want to see something out of the ordinary, you will probably need to commission a custom vid.

First let me say that I am biased as hell. I never bought a tickle video in my whole life and probably never will. But I have seen quite a few and to tell you the truth... all I really notice is if the model is truly ticklish and where. And where the tickler is tickling and how well the tickler is performing.

In case my original answer to Jen's question got lost to all of these side questions: Yes looks do matter to me when I purchase a tickle video. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. It does not reflect at all as I have repeatedly stated how I treat people in real life. You remember real life don't you it's whats going on when your not discussing tickle torture or tickle videos. If that opinion affects the male:female ratio then so be it.
