I understand completely. I am pretty positive you will be a big Mets fan this week because we have Arizona and San Francisco in town this week. Hoping for a big 6 game winning streak for the Mets will help your cause in that Western Division.

For the one in my sig, I just did a Google search (under "Images") for Dodgers. An equivalent search for Mets yields this:

Well, the Cubs are streaking now, with people other than Derrek Lee are hitting, and our starting pitching has been solid, with each starter going at least 7 innings in 11 of the last 12 games

However, bad news for Red Sox fans:

It seems apparent that the Wild-card team is coming from the AL Central, since both the White Sox and Twins have better record than both the Red Sox and Yankees. So if the playoffs were today, the defending champs are out. It might take 95 wins just to make the wild-card, as it seems the Orioles are not leaving without a fight

It's only May and I doubt the White Sox can keep up considering they are rather mediocre at scoring runs. I still think the wild card will come from the AL East

well, the AL East os gonna be a three team race, and the Orioles will have a say at what you do. I should be shot for saying this, but as good as the White Sox pitching is, they don't need to score a lot of runs, because it seems you cannot score off them, and remember, the Red Sox and Yankees have six games apiece against them left, and looking at the schedules, the White Sox and Twins have easier schedules left, while the Yanks and Sox have murderous stretches left

Yeah, I know, makes me wanna vomit, but respect should be given when due, and as much as you hate the jints, you do have to agree with the fact that baseball needs Bonds back, no matter how much you hate him

The White Sox will fall eventually. And as far as the Orioles go, their best players keep getting injured so while they will put up a good fight, I think if they get a playoff spot it will be the wild card.

I would agree that he puts fans in the seats, and that certainly helps MLB, but there are enough other stars for baseball to get along without him. 😀
