However, bad news for Red Sox fans:
It seems apparent that the Wild-card team is coming from the AL Central, since both the White Sox and Twins have better record than both the Red Sox and Yankees. So if the playoffs were today, the defending champs are out. It might take 95 wins just to make the wild-card, as it seems the Orioles are not leaving without a fight

I should be shot for saying this, but as good as the White Sox pitching is, they don't need to score a lot of runs, because it seems you cannot score off them, and remember, the Red Sox and Yankees have six games apiece against them left, and looking at the schedules, the White Sox and Twins have easier schedules left, while the Yanks and Sox have murderous stretches left
