I think we'll be best friends...said the Giant. There I think I'm done stocking up on trail mix. Ready when you are friends.

Does every body got what they need said Xenos.... did we get the sword polish as well.

The Giant grabbed the sword polish. Can't forget this! All set! The Giant seemed to have lost any shyness that he had originally when meeting Xenos.

Ok onward everyone. Shouted Xenos "Next stop is Verdis place. Hopefully she agrees to join our merry group."

Well we do have a talking sword...that should interest her if nothing else: joked Hyacin

How far is it said the giant?

It's not too far from the general store said Xenos 'we should be able to make it there by nightfall though we best hurry to be o the safe side."

What happens at nightfall asked the Giant? Are there monsters that come out?

They can be out there..... it's not called the witching hour for no reason. Said Xenos. "I rather not find put. I want us to be at full strength when we fight the witch."

But I'm kind of a monster too aren't I? The Giant asked...but why am I afraid of monsters then?

You are not a monster... Said Xenos. "A monster... A true monster is about being evil and nasty. It's not just about looking scary or horrible. How do you think I figured out right away you were a being that needed help and were not a monster. You did not attack or try to scare me.'

True said the Giant. I may look scary but I couldn't harm a fly...the giant stopped, pondered and smirked but I could harm an evil witch!

Well hold onto that said Xenos. 'Cause your gonna knew to do a whole lot of bashing to get rid of this evil witch"

"I am sensing she is part of the Dark Shadow Covenant i am afraid". Said Hyacin

"You are picking up on that energy too then. I was hoping I was wrong." Said Xenos

What's the Dark Shadow Covenant asked the Giant.

Hyacin answered... " its an extremely evil group of witches devoted to bring about pain and suffering to all. Over the decades it has become more and more aligned with Satan himself. The Prince of darkness has helped them gain much power"

Wow said the Giant. I guess this is going to be quite a battle.

Yea it is said Xrnos.... why we are getting all these people to help us. Wish we had a Palladin though.

What's a palladin? asked the Giant

A Paladin is a Holy Warrior aligned and devoted to God. They have magic powers they can use against evil things. As well as being able to fight extremely well with a variety of weapons. If you are gonna face anything evil it's good to have one

Is there any way we could find one, asked the Giant? Should we really face such evil without one? The Giant asked his sword "What do you think little buddy?"

Maximus shouted.... " ooo I know one i know one.. he is close i think to where we are... his name Argentum. He lives in a small church. He loves mission where he defeats evil."

Awesome said Xenos...let's seek him out. I gotta feeling we need all the help we can get lol.

Maximus you sure come in handy all the time. Let's find Argentum, said the Giant.

Xenos said... "Things are coming together well. A Palladin will be a huge help and he is on the way to Verdis. Way to come through Maximus"

Maximus is beaming "Yay I helped I helped YAY"

The Giant laughed. I think Maximus is my new best friend. By the way, how old is Maximus? Or does he have an age?

Xenos said "I think Oxxen should field that question"

Oxxen laughed "Maximus is likely over 3000 years old.. thpugh sometimes he acts more like he is 3 years old."

Well no wonder we get along, said the Giant. I act 3 years old too...or at least it feels more natural to me.
