The Continous Story Thread

The sword begins to glow ...then light up brightly... "well hello there i am Maximus ..who are you may I ask?" Said the sword in deep resonant voice as if speaking from another dimension.
 
The Giant was stunned. He stuttered. He almost dropped the sword. And finally said "You can call me The Giant."
 
"The Giant it is then". Said Maximus. "Are we off on an adventure. Been a long time since i was on an adventure. I really like being on adventures. I like adventures alnost as much as i like talking. I teally do like talking as well. I guess i like adventures slightly more then talking but adventures don't come by as easily. Much easier to have a chat then an adventure. Course with with a great adventure you get to do both which us really really great. Do you like adventures The Giant?"
 
The Giant looked stunned at the sword. Well you sure like to talk don't you? Said the Giant...and I am ready for an adventure of a lifetime!
 
Maximus said "Yea I kind of talk a lot. Not much else to do when you're a sword except talk and do adventures, I tried sewing once but wasn't good at it cause I don't have hands. Then I tried wood carving but wasn't good at that either cause again I don't have hands. Turns out for lots of stuff you need hands which I don't have. So that just leaves chatting and adventures I guess. So we are going on an adventure of a lifetime. That sounds really awesome. We gonna slat dragons or demons or something. That would be nice do think I ever got slay anything that nasty. Just mainly limps and gremlins."
 
Let's do it Maximus. With our friends here and you helping me we can defeat this evil witch!
 
YAY an adventure. Said Maximus. "Been a long time since i had one of those. Might be decades.....No no I think more like centuries...Been a long time anyway. Rather have an adventure then try anther hobby... like interpretive dance. An adventure is much nicer and we get to kill an evil witch YAY
 
The Giant laughed...wow a babbling talking sword with a personality. Now I've seen it all. Lead the way!
 
The Giant said "Ok where do we go now? I'm getting anxious about finding this witch!"
 
We need to restock a bit ...there is a General store just ahead ...then we go see Verdis the life mage. Then we just need the death mage then the air mage and then we can seek out this witch. Said Xenos.
 
More trail mix! The Giant exclaimed. This really sounds like a long journey. The Giant followed Xenos as he lead the way to the General Store.
 
Shouldn't be too much longer said Xenos. But more trail mix is a good idea I think. We need to stop this witch before she dies of old age laughed Xenos. Oxxen said "Do witches ever die mate." Xenos said "Well this one will with our help."
 
Why do I have a feeling I'm the youngest one here? Joked the Giant...if I stayed in this form would I live as long as you all?
 
You might be.... how old do you think you are? All of us we are all a few centuries old. Some of us a bit more then others lol said Xenos.
 
I don't know. I can barely remember who I was before this. If I had to guess I'd say 35. Fairly young but not a kid. Is it possible I am really 10 years old? Or 90?
 
Anything is possible said Xenos. "I would add it does not really matter in the long run. We don't always get to choose the path we want in life, that doesn't mean though we can not choose the right path. A long time ago before I wss a Mage, i had a girl who i loved more then life itself. Her name was Marie and she was my angel. Then a tyrant came by and killed her to make an example of her to all that would defy him. My angel was gone and I thought my life wss over. That's when I learned magic and found my friends here. We defeated the Tyrant and brought peace to the area but my life was different not what I wanted. The life I have is a good one and I help other I think my Marie would be proud but it's not the life I wanted. Rather it's a life I had to choose."
 
That was very profound said the Giant. I'm glad we have all become friends and look forward to our journey together.
 
Indeed. Said Xenos. "Life Does not always take us where we expect it too... or even want it too but that doesn't mean we won't enjoy the places it does take us. I am very glad I met you my giant friend. "
 
Well onward said the Giant. I think we picking up our last supplies here. Anything else before we move ahead? Lead the way my friends.
 
Yes let's keep moving said Xenos. "Think of anything you need people this is the last supply stop on our joutney."

Maximus spoke suddenly... "I want some sword polish.. I haven't been polished in ages... I want to look good for our adventure... I think that would strike more terror into the witch if I look all sparkly and shiny... yes yes I think if I am super shiny she might even just surrender.... you never know... i look pretty awesome when I am polished."
 
The Giant said "Let's get Maximus some sword polish and me some trail mix."
 
YAY YAY you are the best. YAY I get sword polish. YAY, i am gonna look so wesome YAY... cheered Maximius
 
The Giant laughed. I think Maximus definitely has the most personality of any sword I've ever met.
 
Glad you like him laughed Oxxen. Most people find him...well a bit bothersome. Why I gave him away for free mate lol.
