The Continous Story Thread

Power is a subjective thing. A wizard takes on a specialty. Kronor took fire. I took lightning. So I am a lightning mage. The other wizards we will seek have other specialties.

I guess the only power I have is my size. But if i turn back to my normal size what power will I have?
It sounds like you all are very powerful in your unique way. I think that I still want to go back to being normal.

Yea when you return to normal you will lose the strength associated with your size. However you can become strong in other ways. You could even learn magic if you wish,

Would you really help me become like you? That would be great. The giant began eating his breakfast and seemed like his appetite fit his size because he ate faster than the magic man could serve his gigantic new friend.

Yea sure. You just need to think about your specialty. Which area in magic you wish to pursue. We have time so just think what you are most interested in,

The giant finished eating and said to the magic man I'm ready when you are.
I'm not sure what magic I'd like to pursue but I'm sure I'll figure it out when we get to that point.

Yes let's get going. Not much farther till we find Kronor. Take your time about what specialty of magic you would like. You will know the right one when the time comes. Said the magic man.

 

[Edge]

The Giant and the Magic Man walked on. And the Giant asked how much longer till we arrive? I think we have been walking a while now.

Shouldnt be too much longer. Wait... look over there I see some flame columns shooting up. That has to be Kronor...I know those columns anywhere.

 

[Edge]

The Giant was amazed by the flame columns shooting up and almost slightly intimidated. What is Kronor like, the Giant asked the Magic Man. Is he as nice as you?

 

[kurchatovium]

The magic man laughed... Don't worry. Don't let the flame columns scare you though they are darn impressive I must admit. Kronor is a nice guy and I am sure he will help us.

 

[Edge]

Ok said the Giant. I will let you do all the talking though he said to the Magic Man!

No worries. Lets get over there before he departs. Said the magic man

 

[Edge]

They both walked up to Kronor and at first he didn't notice them. But then the Magic Man approached him as the Giant stayed a few steps behind him cautiously.

Hi Kronor. How are you my friend? Xenos how are my friend?
(Xenos is the magic man real name) I am good Kronor. I came here to ask for your help. Sure my friend what do you need?

I need your help to help remove a curse from my giant friend here. Do that we need to fight a powerful witch,

 

[Edge]

The Giant continued watching this conversation and started stepping forward when he felt more comfortable with Kronor.
Hi (said the Giant). My name is...is...hmm. Come to think of it I don't remember my name. I guess that witch cursed me when she made me a giant.

Hi.. Oh my that is awful. This witch sounds very evil indeed. I would be happy to help up I and Xenos out. We may need more help though. Said Kronor. I agree said Xenos thats why i am hoping yo get our oyher friends to assist.

Kronor laughed Woe like the old days. I love it.

The Giant suddenly went from being care-free to concerned. He didn't realize he had lost his sense of identity. Who was he? He didn't remember who he was before he was turned into a giant. Did he have a family? He could not remember anything before the moment he was turned into a giant.

Kronor consoled the giant. Dont worry my friend we will figure it all out. This is typical of these curses. If Xenos thinks you are worth helping I am sure he sees in your eyes what you have forgotten about yourself. Your soul is pure. This witch though must be stopped.

 

[Edge]

The Giant was glad he found a good friend in Kronor. And knew he had to stick with him through this journey to stop the witch and regain his old life back, whatever it may have been. Was he a criminal? Was he a good person? Was he married? Did he have kids? These are all questions he wondered to himself. He said to Kronor "Thank you for helping me."

Kronor said You are most welcome. As wizards of lawful good it's our job to help others where ever and whenever we can.

What do we do next asked the Giant to the Magic Man? He had a feeling that this was not going to be as easy as casting a spell on the witch (if they can even find her).

I think we should seek out Hyacin. She is a cold wizard. Said the magic man ( aka Xenos) We need to stock up on supplies cause she ain't around the corner.
