The Giant looked at Maximus, grinned and said "Do you think you could just talk Japanese instead?"

Maximus said "I don't know any Japanese or Chinese. Don't know any Italian or French or Flemish. Don't speak any Esperantu or Potugese of any German. Don't even know any Spanish....except the phrase Hasta la vista.. guess I am a dummy sword"

The Giant shook his head. No you're not a dummy. You're my friend and you're going to help us beat that evil witch. The Giant got serious and looked at everyone. Where do we go next my friends?

Maximus said "YAY a remarkable response in that it was so short for such a talkative sword.

Xenos said "Now that we have Argentum we can go on to get Verdis the life mage.

Argentum chimed in "A life mage ,... Wow excellent excellent. You guys sure are well prepared. This trail mix ain't bad either. I have had a lot worse. Once I had one with dried celery in it. What an ungodly mix "

The Giant eyed Argentum...don't be eating all my trail mix!
Can you tell me a bout Verdis asked the Giant?

Xenos said "Verdis is a life mage she is the youngest of us.... she is only about 60 years old. She is a powerful mage though in spite of being so young. She will be essential to keeping us all alive. Which is kind of a nice thing."

60? She's a spring chicken compared to all of you...the Giant laughed.

Is anyone else tired? Should we rest before we move forward?

Yea she is quite young but also very powerful. She will be a big help. Said Xenos.

Great idea said Obsidian Lers all get some rest before we see Verdis.

The group laid out and went to sleep. The Giant snored loudly. And woke up Maximus...The Giant wasn't sure if Maximus needed sleep. Do swords sleep, he wondered.

Maximus said "Of course swords need sleep. We need energy to fight. Lots and lots of energy. Lots and lots and lots of energy. Doesnt look like i am gpung to be getting much thpugh."

It's not my fault I snore, said the Giant. Do swords snore? How about I stay up and let you get some sleep?

Maximus said "it's ok... you need rest for the upcoming battles. I don't think I snore but I am not really sure. I probabmy talk in my sleep though probably when I dream of sexy ladies in bikinis polishing me. Hubba hubba."

The Giant shook his head. A perverted smart mouth talking sword...now I've heard it all! The Giant fell asleep but woke up screaming in the middle of the night.

Xenos shouted "what's wrong my friend. What going on"

The Giant woke up. Wow I just had a nightmare said the Giant. This evil witch had us all captured. I am afraid this is a look into our future if we aren't really prepared to face her.

Hyacin said " Its not a nightmare it's a threat. She is infiltrating your dreams. She sense we are coming for her. We must prepare quickly. Get whatever allies we can and destroy her. It's the only way you will be rid of her and the townsfolk here will be safe."

Argentum said "Let me say a prayer of warding it will help protect us all. "

Argentum utters a prayer in Latin and a magical blue bubble surround the entire party.

The Giant calmed down but was amazed at what happened. Infiltrated my dream? She's really powerful.
The Giant felt safer in the bubble. How many more allies do you think we need? The Giant asked.

Hyacin said "The Dark Shadow Covenant is DAMN evil. They are a force to be reckoned with. They can literally open portals to help where all kinds of ungodly things come out. I suggest we get as many as we can."

Argentum said "I know a Ranger nearby. Rangers are kind of like nature Palladins. They are sworn to protect all the innocent creatures and life. As a force of good I think he would be heloful."

Xenos said "Well if he is close. Let's get him, the more the merrier"

Sounds like we should be more strategic about our impending battle than rushing. I think that is why we're gathering all of this help. The witch knows we're coming. There's no rush in facing her then. Let her wait...and we'll hopefully be fully prepared. I'd like to meet this Ranger said the Giant.

Hmmm good point said Hyacin. Guess I got caught up in all the frenzy.

Xenos said No worries it's easy to do. Since we are thinking ...I think we should get something or someone she won't expect. I want her surprised and not a happy surprise.

Who could that be said the Giant? Can she see everything we're doing? Or only infiltrate our dreams?

Hyacin said "She is very limited. She is trying to the illusion that she is everywhere and is all powerful. It's easy trap to fall into... heck I just fell into it myself. This is how evil operates. If you clear you mind of fear you are unstoppabke."

Argentum said "Well said and exactly right."

That makes sense said the Giant. We can't let her play these mind games with us. Once we're good and ready we will face her and we'll be well prepared.

Aegentum said "well said my friend. . Yes evil loves to play mind gamed rhet are very good at it too. My ranger friend shpuld be right arpund that next hill. His name is Minst."

Let's go said the Giant. He seemed to have totally come out of his shell and now turned into one of the leaders. Maximus please be nice to Minst when we meet him.
