The direct approach DOES work!

I don't get asking someone while they are at work to be in a tickle video. It just doesn't seem professional or the right circumstance.

IMO you got lucky. 99.5% of girls would be incredibly freaked out by this and tell all their friends about the "creeper" they met today. But if you don't care about that more power to ya

I think some people have been unnecessarily awkward towards Viper in this thread, which is unfair.

I do wish some people around here would realise that behind the screen name is a real person that would probably be upset at some of the things said.

That said, this simple post was about the direct approach working.

Clearly it worked, regardless of whether the young lady in question takes up his offer.

Now, I am going to go back to my coffee, apple juice, work and beatles music 🙂

For me? How gallant.
WHat I mean is, although I enjoy it (let's face it, who wouldn't), I'm not in this for myself - I make no profit from the videos and all the proceeds go towards hiring new models and upgrading bondage/filming/editing equipment - I see it as a way to simply give back.

I cut your skin off and made this suit FOR YOU.
You're relating what I said (I amproducing tickling fetish videos not for my own selfish reasons but instead so that I can contribute back to the community from which I've taken so much) to physical disfiguration and serial-killer-esque behavior. Silly.

This quote made me ROFL and ROFL and ROFL.

I find it sad that you only ROFL ROFL ROFLed because you dislike meangry.

You do this when anyone tries to make fun out of me too.
I dislike meangry?? When did that happen??

I didn't laugh because Viper was "making fun" of anybody. I laughed at the contradiction of tone between "physical disfigurations and serial-killer-esque" and then calling it "silly" -- if you must know.

My apologies, I didn't mean to sound like the proverbial turd. I was a little, I supposed shocked would be the best word, by your original reply to me.

It's my fault for not wording it properly the first time. I do that on a regular basis.

If she did, that's her call.

I wouldn't be bent out of shape anyways, mostly because my replies in this topic have been over the top for comedic effect purposes.

Everyone can't agree on everything.

Just to be clear...

I dislike meangry?? When did that happen??

So when exactly will you know if shes really into the idea

This is a good question. The best answer, I feel, is that its dependent on the personality and the situation. There is no universal rule for how to appropriately behave.

I see most people on the forum acting as though this is either wrong or right issue. Well, its not that simplistic. Its comforting to think it is but its just not. Besides, we don't have to see this as a "wrong" vs. "right" issue in order to see how this approach is generally not in everyone's best interest.

For example, I remember being interested in a gorgeous blonde girl a mutual friend introduced me too. The thing is, I had to suspend that interest for the time being in order to see if she was up to par. I'm glad I did because the next night I met her she ended up using the "N-word" when I made a reference to her trying to act gangsta.

Also, as badreligion pointed out, you still have to take the risk of telling someone what your intentions are. The direct approach might not be the best but as for whether or not its "appropriate" you have to take into consideration the intentions, situation, the other person and many other variables in order to judge whether or not its appropriate. If one of these criteria fails to qualify as being inappropriate, then you have to exclude your judgment of something being inappropriate.

As a woman, I think my assessment of whether it was "creepy" or not would have depended on how the guy approached me (and of course, what he said). Having his girlfriend right there would have helped me see that it wasn't a sex thing, but more a business thing. If I had misunderstood, I would have been creeped out and probably called my friends later to tell them about "this guy at the store."

BUT I would not have been "deeply offended" or scared or anything like that. I would distinguish between tickling and masturbating, too. Overall, Viper's taking the risk--but I don't think anyone would feel hurt or harassed about it if it didn't work out...

Congrats on finding the model!

On top of what I said.....lets look at it from a totally different perspective - how many of you here who are bitching about him asking a pretty girl to be tickled.....

Will buy the video anyway when it comes out?

(Like the internet nerd critics who despise Star Wars and rail against Transformers 2.....especially after they watched it 4 times in the theaters!)

He ends up making a kick-ass video, the girl is drop dead gorgeous, great laugh, really ticklish, and she's in an outfit that would make you cry like a baby if she walked in the room wearing. For example, for me, that could be a short black skirt, with a black top and those see-through material for sleeves, barely-there suntan sheer toe pantyhose, heels or strappy heeled sandals.... there's a little story, she comes in and asks to be tickled perhaps, we see multiple camera angles..... or whatever you like - what if he accidently makes it?

That's one reason I'm not going to dare bitch and complain. Aside from the fact that I mean what I said, and I really do admire his bravery, and I'm sure she admired the fact that she got a legitimate compliment, something she probably never gets on a regular basis, because everyone is terrified of political correctness.....

Let me play devil's advocate, and assume I was a complainer against his methods.
And let me also be honest, unlike the internet nerd critics who own every Star Wars toy....
I bitch......then he releases the video, and the preview just floors me. My mouth hits the floor. I buy the clip, and even burn it onto CD and lock it in a vault in case my computer ever gets hit by a meteor. It's that awesome.

I'd have to come back and apologize profusely for criticizing his methods, but then buying the clip after all! (I know most people wouldn't, that's how life is these days, but dammit I would!)

Direct from the dropping hints department.

Is this like believing in Santa just in case he's real?

Subtle, just let me say again that I absolutely see your point of view and most of the time I would agree completely, your chivalry and manners are to be admired :twohugs:. This is indeed an odd and kinda graphic request to make of a stranger, and as someone mentioned earlier, this isn't something you just 'do'; getting a 'vibe' from the potential model in question and approaching in a calm and non-threatening manner helps a LOT, and frankly I never inquire of a young lady in my own area lest she react badly; the last thing I need is freaked-out nasty looks every time I go to my gym or my local favorite restaurant  Timing, location, and a feel for the situation are very important.

Thanks for the compliment, Bella, it's very kind of you to say so. I guess I am just trying to say that there is a time and place for everything.

I guess if this method is wrong or right depends on who it's used with. 🙂 I know I would be pissed beyond belief if someone just came up to me in a store and asked me that, even with me being into tickling! But that's just me! 🙂

And I know I would NOT distinguish between tickling and masturbating since he used the term "fetish video". What would that be for if not for masturbating?

Shoot, it worked! Mark had his girl with him, addressed the situation matter-of-factly and calmly, with confidence, and the girl in question responded favorably. Time and place can come into play, but body language and presentation are also important factors. Mark doesn't fit the description of your typical, street-corner perv. He looked like a regular guy in the store with his girlfriend.

Given the nature of the way he handled this, I think he made a business proposition the way it should be made. Some here would say that they'd be pissed if someone approached them like that, but then again, even with our interests, we don't all wanna be filmed in fetish porn, either. For the nature of that industry, I think bold personalities and bold responses to bold approaches are a necessity.

Something that I think sucks for Mark is that as someone who's a fetish clip producer AND shares this interest, he's ALWAYS gonna be questioned by people about his ability to separate business from pleasure.

Absolutely, and that's something that those not in the business often don't understand. You can't always be subtle with this sort of thing, that's when you'll come off as hiding sinister or unsavory motives...

One secret to a happy life is that you don't have to separate the two if you don't want to, even with adult enterprises; business and pleasure together create some of the most wonderful experiences one can have, I've learned that if someone says different they're probably miserable and repressed and want everyone else to be as well :seesaw:
