You're very welcome, my good friend.Wow interesting stuff. Thanks. 😀
Smart. You have to bet something to keep your lead and if player A bets everything and doubles his money you need to be just over that. You're very welcome, my good friend.
Before reading that, I intuitively knew that given these scores:
me: 800
A: 550
B: 475
Then I would bet 301.
There are lot of categories I don't know anything about.I don't watch that show very often. They have some categories in which I know very little and couldn't answer correctly.
Its been ages since I seen any game shows. Lol.In general, I rarely watch any TV game shows.
Wow cool.I had a colleague who appeared on the show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and won $125,000. That was back in 2006. Everybody envied him.
Same here. They were better. They weren't sanitized by a shows producers like they are now. Something even Seinfeld himself mentioned.I can barely name one current sitcom on t.v....I grew up in the 80s/90s and those shows just seemed better to me. Maybe I just found other hobbies as I got older and don't care for t.v. watching as much.
It seems to me half-hour TV comedy shows have gone downhill since my childhood. The two most popular such shows then were "I Love Lucy" and "The Honeymooners" (starring Jackie Gleason). Both of those were genuinely funny and worth watching.Same here. They were better. They weren't sanitized by a shows producers like they are now. Something even Seinfeld himself mentioned.
Same here. Comedy is dead. Comedy can't be censored. It's crazy. It's silly. It's unpredictable. It's outrageous. I think like Seinfeld said you can find it still in stand up acts that are not gone over by TV Execs. The half hour TV sitcom is gone though I think. It seems to me half-hour TV comedy shows have gone downhill since my childhood. Not sure, I am growing lots of shamrock plants with purple leaves cause they are cute little plants. So far no additional luck from them. LolEnigma - If you're born on St. Patrick's Day does that make you extra lucky?
My previous dog Rollins was born on St. Patrick's Day and had a crazy life...faced so much adversity and blew away all the doctors expectations. Not sure if it's cause he was part Irish or the main reason because he was a crazy bad ass.Not sure, I am growing lots of shamrock plants with purple leaves cause they are cute little plants. I have been very lucky on some occasions. I am not complaining about it. 😀Enigma - If you're born on St. Patrick's Day does that make you extra lucky?
I guess the St Patrick's Day thing did not help. 🙁My previous dog Rollins was born on St. Patrick's Day and had a crazy life...faced so much adversity and blew away all the doctors expectations. Not sure if it's cause he was part Irish or the main reason because he was a crazy bad ass.
Luck is a strange thing sometimes.I have been very lucky on some occasions. I am not complaining about it. 😀
A large part of it is randomness I think. Life is random. Is there really such a thing as luck, or is it all just randomness?
A positive outlook is a good thing always. It allows you to be bold enough to take risks. Which pay off many rimes.Luck can be an outlook though...I've seen homeless people who are way more positive and talk about how lucky they are for what they have compared to millionaires with mansions who feel very down and miserable.
Quite true. People hate randomness. They want there to be a reason for something even if there isnt.Randomness is a better word for it.
