That makes three of us who would be lost without our smartphones. 😛 😛 😛Ye i have become very dependent on mine as well. Lol
Yea it's amazing how much we rely on them. That makes three of us who would be lost without our smartphones. 😛 😛 😛
I never had an iPhone either. I think the iPhone 16 costs like 1600 dollars. Way to pricey for me anyway.I never had an I-Phone FYI...only Smartphone.
Wow that's pretty cool.Well Kurch I was getting free phones from my brother for a long time he's IT and got smartphones like a year or 2 old...but like in brand new condition. But he stopped getting them so I finally invested in a brand new smart phone in the fall. I don't regret it. I got the best protective case available for it and I hope to get several years of usage out of it.
Yea those deals are all gone these days. LolI remember not crazy long ago when Verizon would give you a free phone every 2 years...that's long gone now lol.
Yes, not too long ago, but definitely gone. 🙁I remember not crazy long ago when Verizon would give you a free phone every 2 years...that's long gone now lol.
Yea no more pensions anymore for regular jobs. And that's when phones cost probably $400-$500 now it's double/triple. Ahh well...I told Mils this but I've been the last several years filling up my 401K piling money into it and thankfully I'm able to do that. Nobody gives you a pension anymore other than teachers or government jobs so you gotta make your own pension.
Mostly in the private sector these days, you will only get a pension if you fund it yourself by taking money out of each paycheck and putting it into some tax deferred plan.Yea no more pensions anymore for regular jobs.such a shame they don't reward hard work anymore.
Dad got a pension. He worked for the community colleges though. Was a Union job.Mostly in the private sector these days, you will only get a pension if you fund it yourself by taking money out of each paycheck and putting it into some tax deferred

Probably end of March or early April. Essentially when spring starts. My enigma is when will the cold winter ease up on us?
Where I worked, it was a condition of employment that you allowed 5% of your gross pay to go into a tax-deferred pension plan. Even better, they matched your contribution every paycheck.Dad got a pension. He worked for the community colleges though. Was a Union job.
Places where I worked didn't even offer the option.
Yea those are pretty good deals. Never was lucky to get in on one though. Oh well.Where I worked, it was a condition of employment that you allowed 5% of your gross pay to go into a tax-deferred pension plan. Even better, they matched your contribution every paycheck.
I've just got my 401K and they do match something but not like a pension obviously.Yea those are pretty good deals. Never was lucky to get in on one though. Oh well.
Yea same here.I've just got my 401K and they do match something but not like a pension obviously.
