The Rules

All submissions for the contest must be sent to me by Note/Private message by midnight on the night of January 31st. There is only one entry per contestant, should you choose to change what you wish to enter that is fine. Just make sure to notify me in advance.

Basically, this contest will run until the 31st of January. All entries for the contest must be submitted to me by then or else they shall not be featured in the poll that will be held the following month to decide the winner. The prize will be a quest appearance in the game! I was considering adding "you get to play the game a week early" or something like that as well, but figured that it might not be much of a reward seeming as this game doesn't get an overly thorough beta test.

Now then, Submissions: Submissions can be any form of fan art (Writing or Drawn) but MUST be to do with "The Laughing House" and its characters and such! (Otherwise it wouldn't be much of a FAN ART contest). At the end of the contest, I will host a series of polls to determine winner. Depending on the amount of submissions, I may split the contest into 2 separate categories "Writing" and "Drawn". If I do, the prize will still be the same... I'll just tweak the implementation a bit!
 
Oh interesting. I'll see if I can get something done in time. Is "fan art" the only rule regarding the content?
 
So when you say Fan Art, either written or drawn, that means Fan Art, or Fan Fiction, right? Because I can't draw to save my life.

Well, writing IS a form of art, so i'd assume it falls under the category of fan ART.
 
He specifically said "Submissions can be any form of fan art (Writing or Drawn)"

Yeah, just I don't tend to use the term "Fan Fiction" since my brain goes straight to the hilarious stuff! XD

Writing, like music, is a form of art! Just it's pretty hard to make a music fan art....

Oh god! XD At the moment, it's only one category... I may split it into two categories if there are more categories, but even I do it will likely remain one entry only as to make things fair.
 
hi, Love the game but i am having a bit of trouble. one is there a chapter 1? and second in chapter 2 (SPOILERS!!!) i am at the point where the librarian is chaseing Lucy down and i had the unfortunate accident of saving just before she ran into me. now whenever i load the game no matter what she tickles me to death. is there a way to solve this problem?

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do to fix that issue bud, you'll just have to reload an older save or start again

Does it still give you the options of what to do when she catches you? Because one of them lets you escape. Or did you already use that?

If i did that it'd of made the chase way too easy! So shamefully, you'll have to start over.... but at least you aren't that far in!

Also a quickie progress update since I like to do those and I'm sure you all like to know what's going on with this series:

I have done just about fuck all work on it! You can thank that nora virus thing for making me violently ill over new years and my uni course for burying me alive with mother fucking coursework about subjects I couldn't give a rats ass about!

Well I lie, I have done a small bit of work on it... I got the conversation between the lovely Lucy and (if you saved her) her new found friend started... then I ran like Sonic with a cactus up his arse to the bathroom where I proceeded to nearly put my back up vomiting what little food I had had that day... Hopefully I'll have more time to work on the game late February. I can't work on it earlier February since my lovely lady is coming down from America-land-place for Valentines.

Oh and one last thing before I shift off for the day and bury myself in a book to learn "Why Data Warehousing can kiss my scrot!", don't forget to submit your entries for the contest! We're half way there to the deadline!
