Yes indeed, I can sure see how the lapse in continuity would prove disorienting, Darth V! Well, I'm very glad that you're now caught up, that you enjoyed both chapters, and especially that you were pleased with your cameo! I'm most interested to learn that I captured your Magnus Thane persona with some accuracy; that's due, I'm sure, to the generous wealth of knightly reference material you were kind enough to supply! Gratified, too, that you enjoyed the exchange between Magnus and Sir Kaldred; that piece of dialogue was great fun to devise! Quite right about the plotting... this chapter is burdened with an enormous share of exposition (as opposed to Chapter 10, where I'm basically firming up the background and laying hints), which accounts for its unusual length. True too about the leg through the floorboards! I was eager to give this stalwart, ever-reliable plot devise my own distinctive spin!

Thanks loads for the lengthy commentary and copious compliments! And don't worry... the wait for Chapter 11 won't seem nearly this long!

Can't wait to see her sister's end of the story.

Also i rather liked the design of one of the henchmen in part 9. I believe he was orange, talked to the leader of the Cult near the end of Pt9 when they were leaving, last pic featuring the 'bad guys'.
His head just has that 'serious' righthandman / goon / enforcer edge. Quite simian too 😛

Thank you! He was indeed intended to be simian; a anthropomorphized gorilla (not that gorillas need to be anthropomorphized all that much!), just as Mercy and Sephie are humanized cats. Very pleased he works as a henchman! He'll have much henching to do in future episodes!

Yeah... I know Little Big Head has been missing quite a while. Thanks for asking after him! He isn't gone for good; simply lying low, sulking and trying to heal (wounded, as he was, in Chapter 5), allowing Mercy and Angie their side trip. I haven't found a convenient opportunity to reintroduce him yet, but it should happen soon... it better, before I forget how to draw the little bastard!
