I still say the health insurance thing was hilarious considering that IS a concern for everyone. LOL

Mom. We love her. When you know that the freezer is fine, because you measure the temperature, she wants someone ELSE to tell her it is fine besides you. LOL

Exactly had a complete stranger taken the temperature everything would be fine. LOL Five years in undergraduate school. 7 years of graduate school and she still doesnt think I can take a temperature reading LOL.

Well, I cleaned my entire kitchen from top to bottom. Before I began the task I bought a new mop, some heavy duty degreasing cleanser, and a special thing called Cermabrite for the stove I have and then I went to town.
I am a rock star.
I took everything out of my kitchen. First I applied the stove cleaner and let that sit.I used the mop to clean all walls with the degreaser and a bucket. Then I used the same mixture and technique on my lower level kitchen cabinets.
Then I mopped the floor.
When that was dry, I cleaned the microwave and the outside of the refrigerator. I was sweaty when I was finished, but it looks awesome!!!!!

Thanks, kurchiecakes. I have to be in the mood for cleaning, and then I focus only on one room. I write out what I'm going to do ahead of time, and I go until I'm tired. Then I take a break, and hit it again.

Yes, it left me tired and sweaty.

Hmmmmm. Why don't more women marry chemists? We don't know if that is true or not.
We would have to ask lots of chemists if they are married, and to whom.
Science is a wonderful thing, but I think chemistry is a male-dominated field, no?

Depends on the branch of chemistry. Physical chemistry tends to be more male dominated. Biochemistry tends to be an equal mix of men and women.

I dont know to be honest. I think I have given up on the whole dating thing. I tried for awhile just never found the right person. Now with my situation looks like I will be single for a very long time. I just take things day to day maybe the right person will show up if so that would be great but I have given up actively searching. Just takes up too much time.

I figured it was like that because of all your real life responsibilities.
It's not like you can just leave your dad to clog the sink, and your mom to temp the freezer while you leave to go out. It takes a lot of energy to start a business and care for them.
I think my idea of having your dad as the family taster was a good one. Have you done that????

Yea exactly. Maybe once my business is up and hopefully I have some customers maybe I think about a little more me time. 😛
