I did some work on some wallpapers (mainly in the exploding galaxies series) and took care of mom since it is still very hot here.

Yup. Hard for me to believe that anyone that cant be right about tomorrow weather with in 10 degrees can somehow predict global temperatures decades from now. But what do I know I am just an artist. 😉 😛

I know in one instance they were taking ocean tempertaures by taking samples from the ocean and taking the temperatures in the engine room which was exceedingly hot. It through all the temperatures off by about a 0.5 degree. Enough to skew things to look like ocean temperatures were getting very warm.

Well it may not seem like much but when ocean temperatures are reported to have gone up by only a half a degree then a half degree error becomes critical. One must have knowledge about what one is trying to determine an then make certain that your method and instruments are capable of handling that determination. In this instance those doing that determination did not. 🙁

I dont think they did but they were lazy about their science. Its the same kind of laziness that lead to the Cold Fusion craze a wild back. Cold Fusion ended being just being a badly designed thermodynamic appartus. LOL

Fusion is what powers the sun. It is perhaps the most effiicent way of making energy. All stars use fusion to produce the immense amount of light and radiation they give off. The big problem with fusion is you need exceedingly high temperatures to intiate it. Millions of degrees. This is why most attempts at it here on earth are largely unsuccessful. Cold Fusion reportedly achieved this at room tempertaure using a special catalyst. If the claims had indeed proved to be true then everyone would have very^9999999999999999 cheap and plentiful energy.
