Yeah it is a silly law. It gets hot here too. It is one of those laws you would only get in trouble for if you were pulled over for something else and then the cop saw you were barefoot. Of course that is why you keep a pair of flip flops in the car.

I'm glad too. We had two storms pass through yesterday. The first one in the early evening and the second during the night. It got a little iffy with that second one because of the high winds and thunder booms that sounded like gunfire. 😱 We even lost power for about an hour, which makes sleeping nearly impossible for me because I use a fan and without at least the sound, I can't sleep. 🙁
