I had "fun" Sun. night into Mon. AM. Sunday,I picked up a loaded trailer that had around a two foot high section of packed snow at the rear. Night dispatch and even safety told me to go to nearest truck wash to get it off. 40 some miles away. I said who will be responsible if that falls off and causes a wreck?

I stayed at the truck stop maybe tow miles from where I got load. Monday morning,my company called someone to remove it. The roof was also covered in ice. There were chunks of ice one inch or so thick. I reweighed the load. Around 2,000 pounds of snow and ice was removed.
