Yea. 🙁 I had to keep them in the fridge for a month before I could even plant them. It was a lot of work to get those 3 widdle trees.

What does keeping the seeds in a fridge do for the seeds?

It activates the seeds. They wont germinate otherwise. Its the way some plants make sure the conditions are just right for them to germinate. 🙂

You are most welcome. 🙂 I didnt know that either till I tried to grow them. Some seeds need to kept cold for a month then warmed for a month and then kept cold for another month. Otherwise they wont sprout. Lots going on in those widdle seeds most of which we dont understand. 🙂

Yea. Yew trees have a compound called taxol that is very good at treating cancer. One of the reasons I was trying to unlock how to activate certain seeds. The more Yew trees we can get growing the more taxol we can experiment with to find better cancer drugs. 🙂
