I know it's not the true image, but many of us outlanders I guess go around thinking of the "canyons of steel and glass", where the extended sunset begins as early as one p.m.

I know the feeling, especially in this economy. But don't let yourself think like that. The things that make you a man who can be trusted to keep 80,000 pounds on the roll and shiny side up also make you patient, far-sighted and decisive. Also self-motivated, law-abiding and a good insurance risk in any industry.

Of course, they won't know unless you tell them, the dumb bastards.

A quick Google finds also the Chronic Disease List and the Centro del Distribucion y Logistico. Some aspects of a man's resume must be depressed so as to assure an accurate assessment by the dreaded HR. I tend to think, albeit briefly, in terms of substances that react ferociously with ordinary room air.
