*Spies a pair of anklets and bracelets.* Astounding! The lost treasures of Horian, here! These anklets were said to grant the wearer flight more swift than any bird, while the bracelets were said to be capable of summoning fire elementals when properly activated. And over here, *Picks up a slender staff inscribed with an odd language* if I am not mistaken, we have a staff belonging to one of the ancient warrior monks of Cetarus. Their skills with staves were legendary; it was said that a staff held by one of these monks could block any sword, even though they were made but of wood. The key lies in the runes. Inscribed in the language of the monks, none knew it. I myself know but a few words taught to me by one of their number. What I do know is that each stave's runes are specific to it. The owner carves them when they are accepted into the order and it is said that the spirit of a dead member of the order inhabits each staff, giving it their power and protecting the wielder.
*Picks up a small box* Why, this looks like...*Opens the box. Light, bright but not painful even in its intensity, floods from the box, covering all in a somehow comforting glow.* This is a shard of Virisdl, the crystal star! It's light shines through all evil, piercing to the core and causing great pain to all with vile thoughts in their being. It is a light that no darkness can snuff out.
