I got a haircut yesterday.

I got a beard trim also.

They charge just as much for the trim as for the haircut.

It's been a long and cold January.

But who knows what February will hold.

I do notice it's light at 5PM now which is nice.

I will go to the Senior Center for lunch today.

It is just one block north of me.

The food is good but not great there, and it is a bargain.

I see the foot doctor tomorrow

Hopefully all goes well

I am on my own since the state took my caregiver away

The lunch was better than average.

It was barbecued spare ribs, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli.

Also, free tea or coffee came with it.

It's cold today but not too bad.

We do have some wind though.

And a chance of a few showers or snow showers.

I have a tendency to overeat at buffets.

I will try not to do that today.

Saw the doctor today on my own without a caregiver.

I am proud of myself
