I'm having my lunch right now.

I'm going to be doing stuff indoors and outdoors around home today.

This evening I will relax with Damian.

Sometimes I wish that I had a cat.

But my apartment is too small; no cat would be happy in such cramped quarters.

I like to visit people who have pets.

Doesn't taste that great

It's really good for me though

So, I don't eat celery.

There are enough things that I do like to eat.

I love the month of September.

The weather is usually very nice.

And football returns this month as well!

Football starts September 5th

Chiefs versus Ravens rematch.

Should be a good game.

I don't care that the NFL returns this month.

I do care that MLB's pennant races heat up.

I hope the Dodgers win the NL West.

September is a great month for both sports.

A lot of exciting sports times ahead this coming late summer and autumn.

The 1962 Mets finished 40-120, 60.5 games out of first place.

The 1899 Cleveland Spiders finished 20-134, 84 games out of first place.

I have been off four days in a row.

It has been really nice to have a long break from work.

Tomorrow I'll be glad to be back to work and look forward to my evening at home.

The miserable finish of the Spiders in 1899 allowed the Brooklyn Dodgers to set a record that will likely never be broken.

The Dodgers, who won the National League Pennant in 1899, finished the season 84 games ahead of the last place Spiders.

No team has been anywhere near 84 games ahead of another before or since 1899.

Today it is too cool, only in the 60's this morning.

I love this time of year.

It's cooler but not too chilly yet.

I had a grilled veal chop which comes with potatoes and mushrooms.

My friend had lemon chicken which is what she almost always orders there.

For dessert she had tiramisu and I had chocolate mousse with whipped cream.

Wish I could have it .

My diet though says I need to avoid it.

I have a lot to do at work today.

But that is pretty much every day.

At least I'm never bored.

The Cyclones won a classic pitchers' duel last night, 1-0.

Many fans find that kind of game boring because they crave a slugfest.

Not me; I love pitchers' duels as long as the team for which I'm rooting wins the game. 😛

September is such a nice month.

It's not as hot/humid as the hardcore summer but it's still really nice and warm out.

I don't want to take out a jacket till the end of this month at least.
