i am happy to report that the Red Sox are done. finished. they are the weakest link, goodbye. Now maybe Pedro can get another job as a wrestler on WWE. The Cubs/Yankees series would make a better one than Cubs/Red Sox. maybe next year we can send the billy goat to Boston

Sadly, the Marlins vs the Red Stinky Sox is not all that appealing.
Neither is the Marlins vs the Yankees IF they should advance.

The ONLY ratings attracting, appealing series would have been either the Cubs/Sox or Cubs/Yanks.

ok, so I am not going to say anything nasty...just goodbye sox, cya, so long, its been fun.

Really gang, this was definitely the most nail biting interesting series I have seen in a long time. I have to give the Sox credit where credit is due, they made it very interesting and this was a very well matched series. This game couldn't have been any better but once again the Yankees rise to the occasion. Just like Bucky Dents homer this one came from someone unexpected at this point, not that Aaron Boone is not capable of the long ball but he his hitting has been absent since coming to the Yankees.

Congrats Boston on a well fought out series!

The guy only threw 75? pitches before the eighth. Now that everybody knows the result, everybody is going to second guess Little for leaving him in. He was pitching so well that it was his game. I find it hard to believe that ANYBODY would want to come out of a big game like that, especially the competitor that Pedro is. In hindsight, he could have thought better of it. He had his two best set up games warm in the pen.

I was really pulling for the Cubs to get in instead of the Marlins.

The guy only threw 75? pitches before the eighth. Now that everybody knows the result, everybody is going to second guess Little for leaving him in. He was pitching so well that it was his game. I find it hard to believe that ANYBODY would want to come out of a big game like that, especially the competitor that Pedro is. In hindsight, he could have thought better of it. He had his two best set up games warm in the pen.

Actually, you can ask shygirl, I was saying as Little(the mangaer) went to the mound in the 8th, that he should take Pedro out right now or they loose the game. He did not take him out. As the manager left the mound, I said to Patti, "tie game" and "they just lost the series".


I wanted the Cubs all the way too. Now I have to root for Fla. I always root for the National League team with the exception of last year when I wanted the Angles all the way.
I hate San Fran. Barry Bonds is an arogant, stuck up, asshole.
