Please Tracy remind Kandy and Katherine's parents where there is love there is always hope. Thats why I know Katherine will prevail because she is loved by so many. Even THE THREAD's cute little teddy THE POST is praying for her.

Tracy I know that was hard for you to post, hell it was hard for me to read.🙁 Miracles happen every second of the day! And like you said the doctors told Kat's parents that she was dead, and yet she proved them wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!🙂 See, the doctors don't know everything, only the big guy up stairs knows so please remind kat's parents and Kandy that she is going to have good days and some not so good days. A lot of love and prayers going out for this young lady and her family, Kandy and Kat's grandma!!!!
I know you are having your own problems and yet you are there for them helping them! Thank you! I have asked many people to add them to their prayer list, and I will not give up hope or my prayers for Katherine!

Yeah, it wouldn't be good for Kat to be worrying about you, Kandy.

And as for the other family member...Kat's...grandma, is it? ( hard to think right when you're tired. See, Kandy? That wouldn't help you help Kat much. 😉 lol)

Maybe a good solution for them could be: half the family goes to one person one day, while the other family members stay with Kat...and then another day, they switch. Least then, they can both have some visitors.

I know how hard it is being in a hospital....and I think it's great that you're lookin out for Kat, Kandy.(And whoever else is lookin out for her, too. ) In some hospitals I've been in, seems almost like the family member has to watch out more for the patient than the doctors and nurses do.

Example: I was in the hospital and (this is gonna get a lil gross...so whoever has a weak stomach...either ignore this part, or get a trash can nearby ya. lol ) .................................................................had this tube runnin up the nose, into my stomach to suck out the undigested food that was causin me so much pain ( if I don't take enough enzymes with each meal --my body doesn't make enough of its own--, the food doesn't get broken down...one of the symptoms of Cystic Fibrosis)....and I had gotten up to walk around ( sometimes, walking around can help loosen up the...insides....you dog owners probably see your dog doing something similar. lol ). Well, when you walk around, ya gotta have the tube disconnected from it's machine...not just because it doesn't reach very far....but also, it HURTS if it moves too much inside ya...who knew the back of the nose was so freakin sensitive. lol

Well, when I got back to my room, the nurse tried hookin the tube back up to the machine and left. Thing is...it didn't work right....so my mom calls the nurses usin the thing on the side of the bed. She tries it for a freakin HOUR before she walks down to the nurses and asks them to hook the tube up right...and they finally do.

Not tryin to say hospitals are bad places, Kandy...just saying it's good that someone is watching out for Kat to make sure something like what I went through doesn't happen to her.

Again, take care of yourself so that Kat has one less person to worry about....depression and stress isn't gonna help her recovery .

Sadden to hear this

I am a newbie here to the forum, but I have been a long time lurker and finally got up the nerve to join. I am glad that I did!

🙁 My heart goes out to Katherine, Kandy her friend and to her family. And of course Tracy!
I pray that Katherine is doing a lot better, I think some one here suggested that maybe her family can take turns and one go see the Grandma and one stay with Katherine and they rotate that. He-man I think is the one that suggested it.
Me and my friends and family have them all in our prayers.

Tracy, when you have time or Kandy will you let us have another update?

I think Kandy is having internet trouble. She tried to IM me...but was kicked off before she could type. I will try and keep everyone posted.

I just got word from Kandy. There is no change in Kat. her blood pressure is still a little hight due to the swelling. Her family has decided to take turns seeing both kat and her grandmother. Keep the prayers going. I could feel the warmth Kandy felt when I told her we were all asking about her and Kat.
