I use to have tickle dreams...not so much anymore as I have no one to dream to torture or to torture me now *le sad*

That's pretty much what this one was - a silhouette. I've had some pretty vivid ones in the past, one in particular that was so detailed I could see the stitching on it's gloves, but this was the only one that ever physically touched me.

That's what I mean though, at least there's a silver lining to your's lol, the shadow man just tickled you. During my bouts of sleep paralysis, the shadow men would either be standing at the other side of the room would would be over top of me choking me.

I've had one or two tickle dreams. One was actually more of a hallucination, as I believe I was conscious at the time. I was lying in my bed and I was in that state where your mind wakes up but your body hasn't yet, and you can't move (sleep paralysis?). So there I was lying there, when basically I hallucinated that somebody was stood at the end of my bed tickling my feet. My brain made me believe I could actually feel it, but weirdly enough I still couldn't move. This went on for probably twenty or thirty seconds, until I awoke enough to dispel it. Weird experience. It was male, too, and I'm not usually into m/m.

I've had a couple of memorable ones, but they don't happen nearly as often as I'd like them to... XD

Once when I was staying the night at a friend's place, I dreamed that his two dogs came into my room, lifted the covers up, and started licking my bare feet. Tickled like hell, and it went on for a good half hour before I finally woke up, still giggling and very confused... XD

Another one was about a restaurant where all the food was either free or dirt cheap, the catch being that if you wanted to get in on those awesome prices, you had to submit yourself to an hour of public tickle torture for the viewing pleasure of the other diners first. Win-win for me... XD

^_^; So, I'm back, after a sudden 2-week hiatus.

My excuse? Besides some house-sitting adventures and nearly melting under an angry Hawaiian sun, I place my blame on a certain game that's soon to get one hell of an expansion and I'm so excited and eeeeeeeeeeeee!!! :super_hap

Here's a hint of such game. Yes, I'm hopelessly addicted. @_@;

Also welcome back. That angry sun sounds scary. The sun is scary. Majoras Mask would have been way scarier if the sun was falling. The moon falling is more like a cosmic "come at me, bro". The sun'd just be a bloodbath.

Whenever I have sleep paralysis I see terrifying hallucinations of shadow people.

Not to be "That guy," but those might not have been hallucinations. I'd explain further, but, I know ppl can have quite the strong opinions with this sort of stuff, and I'm not looking to start a flame war.

Long story short: To help make them go away, stop being afraid of them.
(easier said than done, I know)

Back to topic, I found this article about sleep paralysis and alien abduction claims to be fascinating: http://www.csicop.org/si/show/abduction_by_aliens_or_sleep_paralysis

I am of the opinion that aliens have not yet or may not ever visit Earth as I share the opinion of people like Steven Hawking who say that an alien civilization visiting us would have technology far surpassing our own. If they were to visit our planet it would be for the rarities that our planet provides like water and a habitable atmosphere and that we would be seen as little more than pests or obstructions in their efforts to colonize the planet.

In other words, remember what happened to the Native Americans when Europeans began to settle North America. It would be much the same situation. They would have no need to abduct so many humans with the technology that they would posses in order to understand how to efficiently get rid of us.

Combined with the fact that I've experienced Sleep Paralysis myself, I can understand how people might think that they've been abducted by aliens with no understanding of what's actually happening to them. Seeing hallucinations of "shadow men", "the wide eyed lady", and "the grinning man" are common with sleep paralysis and could be easily mistaken for aliens. While lights and impending doom are also common, I think that seeing craft and things of that sort are the person's fear and imagination running away with them and considering that sleep paralysis is a kind of form of lucid dreaming, could be a way for their brain to fill in the blanks on what's happening to make sense of the situation. So the theory on the page about alien abduction being a modern sleep paralysis myth makes sense to me.

not sure, but I have been helping my boss out a lot since we are short handed on staff. Yeah its costing me sleep and rest, but hell the checks are worth it

Yeah but unfortunately fairytail only goes to episode 48 of season 1 haha and... welp thats as far as I am with that. Netflix does that on alot of animes
